    The terminology of "3rd position" was so confusing to me until I saw this video. Had no idea it had anything to do with circle of 5ths. You're the first person to explain this in any videos I have seen. Thanks for clearing that up.

    This is gold Will! I have never had an explanation of how positions work, and I think this would improve a lot my understanding of harmonica and also my playing. Thanks man!!

    Thanks Will! I think some charts would be excellent for tutorials on modes and positions. Just a suggestion. Some people, like myself, are visual learners.

    Thank you, Wilde, for the very useful information you so generously dole out. Will you kindly also explain the concept of equal temperament tuning vis-a-vis the Richter tuning? Specifically, would the 'Hertz' readings on a harmonica tuner be different for a melody tuned harmonica from the one that is Richter tuned? Thanks🙂

    • @willharmonicawilde
      @willharmonicawilde  5 лет назад +1

      That's not something I know a great deal about, you'd be best off googling it. "Just intonation" is for particularly sonorous chords, "Equal temperament" just means all the notes are tuned to their mathematically correct frequencies.

      @@willharmonicawilde But you may just have replied to my query fully? It is surmised that the 'mathematically correct frequencies' tuning needs some compromising in favour of playing the chords more rhythmically. Maybe I'll be able to expand on it from here, and make some meaningful conclusions! Thanks a lot, Will 🙂

    Great, looking forward to this. You will be using a standard tuned diatonic presumably? Haven’t gotten a Wilde tuned one (yet).
