Removing the chrome collar is the same on a 2006 Chryslter Pacifica, except the shifter knob unscrews.

Ive tried to remove mine. Its a 2007 model. Ive removed the chrome part of it . But ive not got a metal pin holding it on. Must be different on 2007 cars.

Try spinning it counter clock wise

On my 2007 300 once you remove the collar it slides right up, some models you unscrew it though.

Late 2006 300c. No pin. It unscrews ccw after the collar is slid down

Yes that's a different model altogether since it's the previous generation.
