Steve Liebmann is the best narrator/presenter...50 years in journalism too
He’s pretty up there.
Sally Ann, "Australia's 1st whistle blower" should have been protected, not murdered. Her memory should be honoured, not sullied by establishment tools & best served by protecting future whistle blowers, not elitist criminals.
I am true crime addict. I have watched many, many documentaries about some of the most heinous characters out there. I can honestly say that Crime Scene Australia is ONE of the most harrowing television programmes I have ever seen. The detail they use is astonishing/fascinating but required to bring home the severity of such crimes.
I'll never forget the episode I watched on Bevon Von Einem...I couldn't sleep for days!
Bald Brown Knitter indeed!!!! Love it!!!
Bald Brown Knitter I’ll have to check that episode out, thanks 🙂
You should upload knitting tutorial/true crime chats on your channel. I'd sub!
Hi sir, me too. I've watched lots of crime documentaries and this channel is one of my favorite.
Bald Brown Knitter And Steve Liebmann is awes9me-the equivalent, Down Under, of Bill Kurtis 👍🏽
A young woman Juanita lost her life because she fought for what was right And What she believed in. What a brave woman
That's true but you see the irony? Her ancestors did same thing to native Australians!
I remember when Sallie-Anne's body was found, I was living just up the street from the entrance near Queen's Park. Used to cycle around it every evening after work.
There were quite a few underworld killings going on in the Eastern Suburbs at the time.
neddy smith strangled sally, but he also shot warren, not Rogerson
Funny running into you here 😀
I LOOOOOOOOOVE your channel! 🤩😍
Many years ago in another life time 40 years i knew sally also another woman who ,lets say died because of the goings on ,so many waisted lifes BECAUSE off greed of money through drugs.
ObsoleteOddity and of course the group of criminal police that assisted. These times were dark indeed
ObsoleteOdditty, We all know you murdered her.
Thank u so much, i am having a fibromyalgia pain crisis, and i am lying under my electric blanket enjoying your channel. Watching the unfortunates, great way to keep mind off pain
Hey! me too, here in Scotland.
@@kpzcbttp We should form a group! Literally doing the same thing in the US!
proudbluestaterful
I sympathize. I too live with fibro, arthrosis =bone on bone (in my behind) and various other ailments. Am sure that electric blanket must help !
So sorry been "there". Hope u feel better!
Get cozy and enjoy my friends. 😊
This is so sad. She was a hero and a very brave lady. Well done sally. You mattered x
I often think that if the police won't bring a person to justice a family member sometimes might.
This is a bit off topic, but I just have to say it...Someone actually named their child _'Roger Rogerson'._ I mean, _really!?_ o_O
I knew a lady called Carol Carol there is all types...
I heard of a guy called Lorn Green once.
I've seen John johnson, Steven Stevenson and bodie boden..... Don't understand it lol

There are some funny names out here...
I saw a gravestone for a Pvt Richard “Dick” Rash. He died in WWI so not sure if dick had the same connotation back then but I’m pretty sure Private Rash still would have
thanks for new video .. i very hooked up with your channel .. 💓💓💓😍😍 merry christmas ..
holy moving parts batman... way too many names being thrown around.
I am dying to know more about Monet. What a fabulous person. Does anyone know why I can’t find them anywhere on the internet?
"The Girl Who Knew To Much". Sad
re the Sally case: They really did an incompetent, amateurish autopsy the 1st time!
I've only been watching Australian crimes for less than a week, and I have come to know Nerdy Smith was a menace to society
Te 👍
Nerdy smith 😅😅😅 any of these lot still around...I don't believe nerdy done it at all...nobody is that dum. And why was Sally's the one he enjoyed reliving...cos he w8shes he'd killed her...the truth is out there

great channel. thank you.
Seems like she was living on the edge for quite a while. Not that she had it coming but it was pretty near inevitable after a certain point. Dirty cops and drug traffickers can be dangerous if you get them stirred up.
The narrator said the killer "snapped her jugular." I have never heard of an artery being "snapped." Is that even possible? I could understand snapping a hyoid bone, but snapping an artery? Can someone shed some light on this statement?
Well, I'll take a stab at it. Under a lot of pressure something can pop and if something could pop then you can also think that it can snap. Only I wouldn't choose the word snapped if it were an artery that popped. I mean it's conceivable that blood pressure may have built up and then caused the artery to pop. That's my take on it.
nice work
How I not seen this one ?
Great upload thanks
Very interesting stories. Thank you
Thanks
Roger Rogerson?!? Why do people do this kinda crap to their kids?
Maybe Roger rodgerson was not his birth name. His mother remarried and he took his step dads surname maybe? Not as bad as Leigh Leigh, but yeah
The worst - or best- one ever was Neville Neville - the father of ex United players Gary and Phil Neville. I can't hear it without thinking of "Rebel Rebel" by Bowie.
Marilyn/Monet is the person who comes out of this with honesty and integrity as a witness.
Many Blessings Friend wherever you are tonight.
While l lived in Kings Cross l knew both these ladies.
You did? Huckstepp didn't even live in Sydney until 1979 or 1980, that was 4-5 years AFTER Juanita Nielsen went missing/murdered, so I think you may be confusing one if these ladies for someone else?
Juanita Nielsen ~ 1937-1975, RIP (only 38 yrs old)
Sallie-Anne Huckstepp ~ 1954-1986, RIP (only 31 years old)
I went to school with Sally, darlinghurst, she walked home with me, juanita came to our suede and leather shop and tookpics of me in a dress for the magazine, l was 16, l,m 66 now.
@@NannupTiger see details.
@Lady Stoneheart thankyou, l was born in Brougham St, 1953, and Sally went to Dover, told me she was pregnant we were both about 15,16, ?when l left school l worked up the Cross ,but can,t find the photo, l think it was Now magazine. Jaunita took me in an alleyway and took pics. ,about 1hr,but that l met both is 100% true and l appreciate your comment 😙
Here for my crime fix
King Ray ill break you off😂
King Ray ..... CRimE!! And cRimiNals!!! I need it!
So sad what happened to Sallie Anne :( these horrible people
To proudbluestaterful : electric blanket helps. I never thought of that . I was told to use heating pad. Hope you feel better
SALLIE-ANN HUCKSTEPP: WHAT A NICE NAME.
I love these videos, I know nothing about a country I yearn to visit. ..the nature, people and architecture. ..
If you ever go there, be careful.
We only have 400 murders... per YEAR! So yeah, it's still very safe. It's clean and green too...99% of visitors LOVE their stay 😊
@Lily Dale That never used to happen here either...but it does now. Sad and scary!!
Opening graphic at 1:29 says ``THE GIRLS WHO KNEW TO MUCH.''
If producer's standards are shoddy enough to allow that typo, I'm not watching.
To much-up, to much around or to get enmuched.
'Supposed to be ``too much,'' silly.
The second I saw the title, I rewound and having that typo confirmed, I've lost all interest in this story. How could NO ONE have proofread?!?!? Embarrassing! Next.
@@quickchris10comcast That's sad if one typo can make you not watch the story of two harrowing deaths. It's a common typo and one easily missed. Really not that big of a deal and entirely dramatic on your end.
My mate Dave Warner loves anything on RUclips, even these shows.
@4:11 ".... when we did the interview" ROFL!
Where can I find Sally Annie’s writing and contributions to magazines,?
She wanted to be loved!!! And she really did love Him!!! So sad that she was thought of when she was in the midst of so much pain!!! Of course she loved the affection!!!
End the failed war on drugs and take the distribution of drugs away from the criminals
Monet King u sound fabulous!!!
She did it for love , and these guys cant understand . I pity that
She should have stopped at 'Indian hemp' ...
or Indian hash anyhow
5 years for stealing colour TV's; and elsewhere here on RUclips I see Aussie judges give sentences of 2 or 3 years for some drug dealers....
Proves TV is a bad drug.
LOL! comment of the night!!
@@kinkynightmare4705 Thanks
Sounds to me like the "mentality" of their judicial system was like a lot of places: cops, judges, boards, and invest. councils and grand juries were looking for an excuse, any excuse, because "EVERYONE KNOWS" he's guilty of other things, but we haven't caught him. A bad cop is one thing, but like New Orleans, the entire system becomes infected and no one, including lawyers and judges, have ever read the country's "Charter of Rights'> short cuts ok, hini hint. if we find crooks, hoes, and hangers on full of bullets, we don't look too hard.
It happens when you have committed other crimes before. If it was his first offense, it might have been shorter. But if he is a career criminal, stealing a tv would get him more time.
Marilyn was gorgeous!
I was actually thinking when they showed the actresses playing the prostitutes how they always get girls that look beautiful and glamorous and the real girls are horrible. But then they showed these women. For the first time the actresses aren't as good looking.
I've been to King's cross. It's like the Granville side Vancouver, Canada, slightly better than Van.
Sam LSD I was there in Sept last year. Stayed at Spicers at Potts Point. Loved it.
BOB Bottom.... really ? … :)… whuaa whua haha Thanks for the laugh.
Hahahaha
Spy vs Spy did a song about Sallie-Anne, called 'Sallie-Anne' naturally. One of their better ones. Look it up too.
The whole case contaminated
To me this show likes to reenact all these women being murdered more than telling a damn story. This is the third one I've watched and they must have a horror move wannabee director run in this mess.
The music and sounds for the lead up to this documentary is the very best out there to date next to the fictional Mission Impossible!
You have to be kidding! It's horrible noise!
Omg. It's vanity!!
Never be involved with drugs ! Never !
You could also add the cases of Shirley Brifman and of Shirley Finn. Very similar cases, all happened in the same time, none of them solved
RIP Sally Ann
Australia????? 2 years 3 years 🤔😲
everyone lving SMR should listen to monet king :)
Fuckin LOVE these Australian true crime shows.
You should visit sometime ,,, but be careful you don't wanna get your jugular snapped.
The man at 50:46 min made me laugh the way he tells the story
Warren Richards Judo and karate champion heroine dealer that it one bad dude🥺
Millions from the lingerie business--yeah, right.
Jesus that was really hard to watch him trying to strangle her
True crime is deep!!!lol
I wish your channel need subtitle
Neddy got her
indeed that's a fact
All drugs should be decriminalized and regulated. Take the crime out of it
@ James Lade - because the world needs more addle-brained zombies?
Eatie Gourmet Eatie Gourmet Silly Logic - people that really, really want to do drugs are going to do them regardless of their status legally. Taking that away will not prompt the grandmother down the road to start shooting up. Rather, it takes the power away from criminals flogging this shit on the street, can help prevent unnecessary deaths from tainted batches of drugs made in somebody’s kitchen.
If you want to talk about zombification, how about the opioid epidemic in the US? Completely legal, and is turning people into literal zombies, completely dependent and subdued. Or the Valium people take for anxiety? These drugs are far more harmful than things like marijuana, one of the most popular illicit substances that is empirically proven to be less toxic to the body than alcohol - which, again, is legal.
We let people zombify and destroy themselves with things like Valium, OxyContin and tobacco, but god forbid we apply the same logic of regulation to other “illegal” street drugs.
Ridiculous.
Bravo thank you for your intelligent comment people are so naive so believing of the government and the news it's refreshing to see someone that actually understands what's really going on and what is truly needed in our society... I speak from experience alcohol is truly the most toxic drug out there but it's legal it's ridiculous
From judo and karate champion, who represented Aus in 1976 Olympics, to drug dealer. Olympics guarantees absolutely for the future. How come John Dale the author knows details about that night 12:31?
I've noticed British, Canadian and Australian police are extremely lazy negligent, and careless of human life. They can afford to pay as much as possible to buy materials for new technology related to forensic science equipments, but they don't want to.
Sam LSD you need to include the US police as well if you are going to criticise...
I,ve personally been to south head cemetery and seen Juanita,s memorial cross plus her mother and father tomb i cannot speak of others however there definitely a sad vibe coming from it
Neddy killed her, the cops/dealers set her up...😞
"The Girls who knew TOO much.". Not "to". Sad.
The spelling or the human tragedy?
"Snaps her jugular?" WTH are you talking about? FYI: It's "too" not "to." Great journalism 🤨
what is that? snap a jugular? Explain please.
Marilyn is a hoot !
Complicated. One has to really concentrate.
Reel Truth Crime: I love your channel, but could you PLEASE turn down the volume of your intro? Thank you!
An inner city doesn't have a suburb.
how do you "snap" someones jugular? thats like breaking a piece of paper, or bending sand.
My guess is that regarding the police badge someone picked it up and pocketed it. Or the police picked it up thinking that someone had dropped it if it was that realistic looking. I don’t know why the police never look into pretty obvious possibilities. Her body was not immediately discovered.
@41:30 The title should read "The Girls Who knew Too Much" not "To Much". lol
He "snaps" her jugular? OOh! I bet that hurt.
neddy smith strangled sally ,fact
@@tonycornwill9008 There is considerable difference between strangling and "snapping".
I've never heard of a charge 4 smoking Indian hemp,LNMAO
too much surely?
SO JUANITA DIED. POOR GIRL.
At about 7:25+ minutes in...She got in trouble, for smoking "Indian hemp"... Is that anything like marijuana ???
probably. maybe australian weed
james mueller
Suggest you google it. Must be something....if she got in trouble. Every country has their products, I guess.
james mueller Yes it’s marijuana. According to google it’s typically called that when being used for fiber though but in this aspect I am sure they just mean marijuana lol
Dogbane
This documentary is ruined by the re-enactments. Ruined.
What bunch of cowards they were bar Sally Anne
They don’t just have the money to pay off barristers they have the money to pay off jurors.
Maybe the badge was found there and returned to him.
'too' not 'to'
Needy Smith died a month ago.
Bob Bottom
I'm NOT a spelling Nazi but can't believe they spelt TOO as TO in the TITLE!
In fact, it is a very common misspelling. I have found it countless times. Just that one, among many others.
Rebecca Farley you’re
I think they both knew too much, so someone made them disappear
In the case of Juanita that is true and she was about to publish it.
Leave Dave Kel out of it
Author BOB BOTTOM pahahahahha
The girl who new *TOO much.
Title typo: to much
Intro: should be too much, not to.
Saw that.....was like what? Lol
24:25 Huckstepp did not sound Jewish as a name
It wasnt her family name but her First husband name
Why is a transvestite playing the role of Loreta the receptionist ? 40.00>>
Monnie is beautiful
Killer foreal. Nettie is sick.
1:33 Crime Investigation Australia needs to hire someone to check their grammar 🤦♂️
ROTFLMAO! "Snaps" her jugular? Can't "snap" something that flexible.
