Toyota, please make this a production vehicle. But do not include your IForce engine powertrain. But rather the V6 twin turbo from the Lexus GX overtrail. That will perfect the vehicle.
I teared up a bit omg. In the past 14 years I have gone from an FJ Cruiser, to two 5th gen 4Runners, and now a new GX 550 Overtrail. I'm looking forward to seeing this proper FJ Cruiser successor (in my humble opinion) at SEMA! Excellent work!

We have to have faith brother times are changing they can’t keep making corny looking trucks sales are down. If they drop a new vehicle and it’s not this It’s going to completely tank because people will ask where is the rox… this will over shadow anything they try to build its going to be a real big hit just like you said.

I was just notified about this maybe 15mins ago and can't get enough. I own a modified Jeep Gladiator, love it, but this and its proportions is perfect. I hope and pray it comes into mass production. It will be a game changer for us who want to be away from the city.
This is such a dope concept . I think it would be cool to keep it as minimal as possible to keep the cost down. One of the cool aspect of offroad toyotas is to customize them to your specific taste. Bumpers , rock sliders , wheels, racks . So for toyota to leave em out to save on cost and let the customer add those would be awesome !
If you build a mini truck for real (rumoured as the Stout), PLEASE give it this mid-gate concept. The practicality that would add to a mini truck would make it the best on the market.
Build a toned down more version of this at a competitive price to the competition and they will come! Also, great job on creating this. I hope you can take the concept and create a functional production vehicle.

Also, the amount of suspension work on this is phenomenal but overkill for a volume vehicle. Basically turn this into a modern FJ style. Otherwise it will be low volume with a serious price tag unobtainable by most.
We just gotta keep up with more positive feedback. Remember calty also made the fj cruiser to be a concept vehicle but got so much positive feedback they just decided to actually build a production model

I was eyeing the bronco raptor due to all the upgrades and accessories straight from manufacturer.... Toyota reliability with power train still has me waiting for something like this....please build this vehicle and put me on the order list
With the battery bank, and I'm assuming ~2000 watt inverter, this opens up the opportunity to easily install a refrigerator, and even use electric cookers. This is the vehicle we wanted; a direct competitor to the wrangler, and the bronco. Very off-road capable; 37" tires, I'm assuming lockers will come as an option still. The open air concept and truck bed is perfect, as it will provide for a nice ride experience and even open the door for aftermarket campers such as the Ursa Minor for the wrangler. And the tailgate is the chef's kiss; an instant table, and a place to sit. This is SO COOL. Please produce it!
