Hello, I used a Hyflo HF204, perfectly good for the Crossrunner 2017. Unfortunately with the cross runner, a few items have to come off to get to doing the oil and filter change change. You will need to 1st, and always do way in advance of starting, spray the back of All Allen bolts and any other bolts, screws, that may need removing. If you can, use WD40 or any other penetrative fluid. Best to put card board under belly pan, with bike on center stand, and spray ( with pipes COLD) do this a few time leading up to removing, to avoid struggling to remove Allen bolts. Ensure you use the best, tightest of fitting Allen (Hex headed bit) to avoid rounding the inner of bolt head. If too tight, and you begin to feel the Allen part turning before the bolt is, STOP. This is where an impact drive, or heat will be needed, if penetrative fluid has failed. Always avoid rounding out ! One the belly is removed ( and bolts are put in a dish/ container, so not lost, and even marked up so not mixed up) You will need to remove the black plastic guard, once removed you will see the oil filter. From memory ( so annoyed I never filmed for RUclips) you can unscrew and undo from behind the down pipes, and twist filter out, and get a new one in. If you need more help on oil change or filter change, see some of my other videos for details. It is easy, but also easy to make errors, so there are things to definitely avoid. Ask me, if you need further help please.
@@DeanAllen does those holes in the screen gives some air to your face to cool of in the summer? And does it wobble or something at high speed? And do you recommend this screen or the one of Puig? Thanks!
I found it still very noisy around the top of my crash helmet. Can't feel any wind in my chest or face, but disappointing it is still so noisy. Bought some ear plugs, which I should be using anyway.
I've just bought a 2017 model, what oil filter should I use for this? I'm not mechanically minded at all.
