R.I.P. David McCallum, please spread some love and heartfelt condolences to his family. The NCIS veteran is also known for his Emmy-nominated role as Russian secret agent Illya Kuryakin in The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
I loved hearing David's voice when he narrated a story for Caedmon records or cassettes. I also loved hearing and seeing him on tv, documentaries, and movies-and to hear him sing, that was fantastic! Just made my day when I was down. I even told him so when I met him in '76 (after I impulsively kissed him and he asked me why). At least, I don't think he didn't took it the wrong way. It was my way of thanking him when I was 20.
shockmandan Or lose it accidently on purpose, as we used to say. More likely, Ducky will keep it for himself. He, like David, probably appreciates good music.
@@virginiaconnor8350 Um, you misread. I didn't say that Ducky never headslapped anyone. I said that the only one never Gibbslapped was Ducky. Although yeah, never cross him...and never screw with one of his crime scenes!
Does anybody else see how Dinozzo had attitude when he was moving his head when talking about ratting out McGee about Ducky's golf stuff? I was like, "Dang, Dinozzo. I knew you were pretty much full of yourself, but I didn't know you had a tablespoon of attitude to go along with it." :)
I didn't appreciate the implication behind it either. Apparently, that was the implication made when that new "MFU" movie was made. Even David was disappointed how his chr.was portrayed. So was I.

@ 2:07 Obviously, he set it up to be shot by the Germans as it was attempting to escape from Colditz. Ulmann has reminded him that vinyl was for record players and not target practice. The Commandant and Preston got into an argument over how this relates to the Geneva convention, with Preston claiming that it doesn't justify a week in solitary. Carrington annoyedly remarked that it was a waste of a perfectly good vinyl, which could have been used to once again own Major Mohn, who thankfully was on leave. Brent sketched the whole scene, and Downing was trimming his stache apathetically. (yes, that's a reference to one of David MacCallum's earlier roles).
I hate to tell you this NCIS Special Agent Tony Dinozzo well I'm afraid it's too late for "blackmailing" Special Agent McGee cause Ducky accidently overheard the whole thing so too late for "blackmailing".
Given DiNozzo a righty himself this was funny but he took revenge in the sweetest way But wasn’t mad at DiNozzo think it’s cause deep down he knew his heart was in the right place.

I doubt Ducky destroyed McGee record. After all, how would they be "even" if McGee still had a set of golf clubs, but no record, and Ducky has neither record nor golf club set?

OOOOOOH!!!! That stare! Feel the burn, DiNozzo! LOL!!!!
David Mac was a legendary actor. He played Iliya and Ducky like a maestro. I gracefully refer to this man as a Royal Scotsman.
RIP David McCallum a.k.a. Dr. Donald "Ducky " Mallard. You'll truly be missed.
RIP Ducky you absolute legend
He might be an M.E and not really a field agent, but he really knows how to even the odds!!
McGee: What happened to it?
Ducky: Good question.
Me:😂😂😂
Our imagination is infinitely worse than anything they could have told us!
Rest peacefully Ducky 😢

Dinozzo saying: Maybe Ducky swings both ways.

No, he already did, before he lent out the golf clubs.

Gotta love that Gibbes know's ducky that well !

For those of us old enough to remember, I wholeheartedly agree!
