Cello are a fantastic company here in the uk Brilliant customer service and to be fair Not expensive at all Never had a problem in our motorhomes . So excuse me if i dont give you a thumbs up And yes in your own words WE JUST ABOUT MADE IT TO THE END The wife said Dont give up your day job Nasty cow she is But like always i have to agree with her If you get my drift!!! Lol
Unfortunately my experience with cello was completely different to yours. I bought a brand new TV which was loaded with netflix and a few other apps, then lockdown happened so we couldn't go anywhere but as soon as we were allowed to travel again, the TV needed an update and netflix was no longer supported!. I contacted cello for advice and there answer was " you need to buy a new TV", needless to say I wasn't impressed and compared to the lg it had poor sound quality, higher price tag and was slow through the menus.
Thing with using a domestic TV is they are designed to be mounted on a wall that does not move, putting one into a moving vehicle they get jolted and shaken, and domestic tv don't like.
Do you have any proof to back that up? The TVs get shipped from China, transported around the world in containers, pushed through distribution centres then shoved on a shelf for us consumers to pick up and put in our cars to get them home. I'm pretty sure there going to be ok lol
@@victormeldru Yes and they are packed in polystyrene and foam. Take an Avtex TV apart, and you will find all the ribbon cables are glued in place, you will not find that on a domestic tv.
Can you still buy DVDs? And for the price difference, I can buy 2 LGS for the price of 1 avtex. Ive owned avtex and cello TVs, they were overpriced garbage!
Cello and Avtex (we’ve had both) are far more suitable for a camper van/motorhomes than domestic tat from Curry’s. You’ve clearly no idea about the difference.
I've had all 3 (avtex, cello and now lg) I know the difference! The Lg is far better than the other 2 and it's cheaper, so double win! The Lg in my van has been driven around 10k miles now and still going good so it sounds like your talking poop 💩 that it's not suited to a van
No, but it's my local electric appliance centre so easy for me to browse. I have my avtex and cello TVs away for free because they were so 💩 Glad they work for you but they weren't good enough for me
Lg are awful tvs imo. I fully understand you are trying to help others to save. But there are real down sides to the voltage regulators you’re promoting! Ie cheap Chinesium. We’ve seen quite a lot go up in smoke. They are frankly dangerous. I would be weary at min with these
i think if u open up your tvs internal PSU maybe theres a way to make it accept 19v rather than the full 120volts like in youre demo
My RV has a USA 110 AC outlet. Do I need a 12V system? Do they come dual?
What does the power pack say?
@@victormeldru I don't have a power pack. It's a 2014 RV and they placed a 110 AV out to plug a TV into.
@@CHEECHMUN ah ok so you can only use the TV when you are connected to the campground or generator?
Now I see where you attained your muscle!!!

@@victormeldru Rrrr.Thats a shame
Well at least your happy now and have what you want
@darrensanderson325 would have been happier if I didn't have to buy a new TV 😂

Do you have a link for the cigarette adapter end ? And also the booster?
@@victormeldru Yes and they are packed in polystyrene and foam.

Loads of cheap 12v cigarette adapter tv's around. No need for all the faf. Quick Google search.
All very well but the LG doesn’t have a DVD player and isn’t guaranteed 5 years unlike the Avtex
Can you still buy DVDs? And for the price difference, I can buy 2 LGS for the price of 1 avtex.

I beg to differ, Lg do come with a 5 year warranty
Is this a reversed image, or is she really driving on the right side of the vehicle?
In England the steering wheel is on the right and we drive on the left.
Mad concept I know! 🤣

@@victormeldru fair enough, we’ll agree to differ then. The domestic LG we had was dreadful, so bad we received out money back from the retailer.

Lol allll wrong , avtex are very low drain with loads hidden extra features built for mobile life , what your looking are for houses 😂😂😂
What extra features?
