I rode the RE Himalayan for a week in Morocco last November, 1000km from Marrakech to the Sahara desert and back and can’t fault it to be honest, great value for money. No wonder it’s been selling very well here in the UK
Back in my day, you never admitted to riding your sister’s bike because your friends would rib you endlessly. That said, Bill, you should try for a fall return to that trail for the amazing colours and the streams would run a lot lower. Excellent video as always 👍

Well this is a funny coincidence. That trailhead is right off of my old friends place. Saw you go by and we were trying to make out what type of bike it was. I’ll let him know it was a Royal Enfield!

Nice! Good sport taking that little tank out on real singletrack! Tough clutch in it to get as far as it did. I'm hoping 440lbs is a typo? Can a 25 HP bike really weigh 440? 340 I can see, that's about what my 21 690R KTM weighs.....with 74HP. 2 stroke is for sure the way to go on any real singletrack.
Just got the new Triumph Scrambler 400X, great bike, you would like it. 40 pounds lighter than the RE, water cooled and 40 HP. I would have quit at the narrow bridge, but you are a way better rider than me. Anyway, try out the new 400X, you will like it.

The cub would have handled it no problem and I wouldn’t even think about turning around! I hadn’t thought about it in those terms but since you mentioned it, it is pretty interesting. Now I may bring the cub next time 🤔😁

Great video man! Looks like some pretty tricky single track action there! Sounds like that bike could benefit from some lower gearing in that kind of terrain. I have been impressed with what Royal Enfield has been producing, this bike is great value for what it can do.

Royal Enfield really hit the sweet spot with the Himalayan. A lovely little adv bike, easy to ride and live with.👍

I have same year 17000 miles doesn't burn any oil. Completed several BDRs. Only complaint the frame is not that robous. Keep an eye out for cracks.😮

My KTM 690 Enduro R is 100 lbs lighter and has 75 hp. These Himalayans are really lacking in power.

You nailed it dude. Camera needed to be higher, mostly saw only the clocks, headstock and screen, not the very technical trail.
