My sister-in-law and I make the coolest 72 egg holder! I'm very new to woodworking and I fell in love with it. There is something extremely satisfying when you start with raw materials and turn them into something that functions! It's kind of like cooking in a way.

I saw that egg holder on your counter and wanted one so thank thank you for making it.
You are so welcome!
WOOHOO you guys are rockstars! Can’t believe how much you know about woodworking, Lacey! 👏🏼
She is a Rock star!! We are going to make Adirondack chairs next !
@@AcreHomestead I certainly hope you video that and show us. I'd LOVE to learn how to make those. And thank you for showing us how to make the countertop egg holder. It's beautiful. Please thank your sister-in-law for us please.
God Bless🙏
I would love to see Lacey doing a woodworking thing for the Fallen 13. It's been really popular on Tiktok. ❤ & I think she could do a great job.
A great revenue making idea, would be to transfer all the measurements and instructions into an E-document (plans) with photos/screenshots and sell digitally on your blog. Because this instructional video is GOLD! People can print copies and pin them up by the work bench!! I would pay a few dollars for it 👩🔧🔨📐📏🔧🔩 Cottagers who sell their eggs at the garden gate or local shop would find this really useful to sort, transport and sell eggs. The trays could be painted and stenciled with logos etc (imagine Acre Homestead 🙄 ) and a stack of cartons in a pretty basket to the side. You and Lacey can pay your brilliance forward AND get rewarded for it also. Be sure to watermark the pages. Jo from NZ 🇬🇸
I had noticed your egg holder in some of your previous videos and admired it. It’s great that you can take the shelves apart too. What an awesome sister in-law you have! She has very good creative woodworking skills. I would love to have woodworking skills like that. I don’t have chickens, but I can imagine people that have laying hens, but don’t do woodworking, would want to buy one of those stacked egg shelves. Thank you both for sharing your talents with us!
Lacey is AMAZING!!
I would definitely buy one
Queenssss!!!! Yaassss!! You are both fabulous!! 👑👑🙌🏻🙌🏻
Thank you!
Sooooo.... OBVIOUSLY.... the vines that support your family tree come from BOTH sides of the family! You guys are a great team! Clever, capable & cute as buttons!
Love the "messy buns" & how Becky made sure to keep Lacy "fed & watered" to finish this cute project!
As soon as Lacy decides to market these... I'd like to be first in line to buy!! 🥰
Have a safe Memorial Day weekend you two! 🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇸
Haha thanks! She is a rock start!
So cute huh! Aww I wanna come over 😩
My chxs aren't laying yet but I'll be making one of these!
Omg your sister in law Ms Lacey can easily make money 💰 making these egg holders they’re beautiful awesome job
This one was extra fun to watch, Becky! You have a very talented sister-in-law and I hope we get to see more collaborations. You two are a blast to watch and I for one, really enjoyed this DIY sisters-in-law class❣️
It is so nice to have a husband who is handy. It is even better to have a sister in law who is handy! I thoroughly enjoyed watching 2 strong, capable women solving a problem. Killin' it girls!
you are both great at being both technically precise and making the steps very easy to follow, not an easy thing to do on even the most competent diy channels
Your sister-in-law is very talented!!!
I love your sis-in-law because she is a strong Woman who likes to work with tools and her hand to make things. Oh I so miss my woodshop.
This is amazing! I’m totally impressed with the two of you and your abilities!!
Lacey it pretty amazing!!
So lucky to have that sister in law!!! Can I borrow her!! Wicked impressed!💓💓💓💓

Not really but thank you
Such a great project!! And it was fun to see you and Lacey working on this together! Love this!
She is amazing! We are going to make Adirondack chairs next
Very clever ! What a fantastic project !Stacy is awesome, what a woman of all trades, just like you Becky..Now I want an egg holder like that !..
Oops Lacy not Stacy !
Stacey would make a lot of money selling those on Etsy. I want one now and my wood working skills are pretty much nonexistent.
Shipping would be so easy if they are all just stackable layers...loved the video
Yes! I second this.
Great video! My hubby is a licensed carpenter of 30 yrs and he was thoroughly impressed ladies!! Looks great!
Wow, thank you, Donna!
Can’t believe I missed this video. Been watching since July 2020. Love this idea. Great job girls.
Awesome both of you 👍🏻
Thank you 😁 I'm late to reply!
I love it! Not only are you amazing woodworkers, but you work alongside strawberry margaritas and a charcuterie board.
Wow! You ladies are fab 😍
Lea, you are to sweet!
Very good instructions. I sure wish when other people instruct on their projects they would do it like you did. I love this video.
This ladies . . . IS AWESOME! You guys are so cool! 🪚🪚🪚
So heartwarming to see the unity and support ❤
Love your channel!
Nice job Lacy, and gorgeous wedding rings too.
I really enjoyed this video. In the end however I would have liked to have a closer look at the final result and a demonstration of how the trays fit into one another and how well they stack.
Your sister inlaw is gorgeous and talented.
Wow…what an awesome sister in law. Maybe Lacey needs her own RUclips channel to teach us gals how to use power tools 💪🔨🔧🪛🪚
Awesome woodwork.
Awesome , What a nice sister in law
Great project! Enjoyed meeting your sister. That’s sooo sweet of her to do the project with you!!!
She is the best!
I’m so impressed! Buuuutttttt…..not a project I’m gunna try myself lol, I don’t math and I’d probably cut off a limb, especially with a margarita! Good on both of you thanks for sharing, it was still interesting to watch!! Love seeing your family in your videos!

I’ve seen your egg holder in previous videos and have been OBSESSED!!! I love making my own projects so finding this video couldn’t have come soon enough! Every time I saw the holder I paused to study its design. This video saved me on so much math!!! Thank you making it!!
That was awesome 👏
Excellent job ladies!
Great job ladies. Perfect!!!
Omgoodness, girl power💪🏼 I see Lacy got the same woodworking know how like Josh. It looks awesome I will definitely make one for my household. Maybe in a bit smaller size since I don’t have that many chicken
I love that you're showing all the things that we can do ourselves! Next time instead of asking my partner ill attempt it myself :)
this would be great to display Easter eggs that you color with the little ones!!!!
This was so fun. You guys made a great team..💚
When using a Forester bit you only need to mark the center of the hole. The circle is automatically cut by the bit.
Hey!! I stumbled across your page the other day and cant stop watching!! I love the homestead life!! However, Im now 42 (almost) and disabled... So its definitely hard to do things like this anymore. So I am going to live vicariously thru you!! You are a Rockstar!! Much love from TN💛
I so wish I lived near you so you could teach me gardening, cooking, canning, etc.
It is so nice to see such self-sufficient, capable young women. It is inspiring that we can do anything we put our minds to.
You both did a great job. Glad you li ladies showed men out there that women can use tools and know how to handle woodworking and can make things on there own. You go ladies. The finish project was very nice.
Thanks 👍
Such a cool project and even cooler sister in law! Great job, ladies!
She is the best! I love her :)
WOW! You have some skills girl. Love that you made the shelves removable to use as needed. Hopefully the margaritas were after all the drilling. LOL
2:20 Trying to keep up and convert it in my head to the metric system, as she goes!🙈😂 / Scandinavian
Great project!
Thank you! Cheers!
She should sell these!
Im not fluent in english but if you would have leave the holes in the upper part you could rotate de shelfs so that you always have tha oldest one on thenupper shelf and when its empty you take this and fill it with the new eggs and take it under the lowest shelf.
I love it. I’m so gonna make one. What a beautiful and sweet sister-in-law. Y’all work good together
You should file for a patent on this idea! Every homestead needs one of these egg holders!
Oh look what popped up on my feed today, saw that sweet egg holder yesterday and was dreaming up a pattern, thankyou🐔🐔🐔🐔♥️
OMG your SIL is so smart. I wouldn’t have thought of 99% of those details. And the math! That was impressive
I must say, you 2 are awesome together!
Most excellent egg stacker.
Super explanations.

Sorry, I just saw this! Thank you, Nikki!
Awesome job ladies! And, the stain you chose is my favorite! My daughter does a lot of wood projects, I’m going to share this video with her even though she has no need for an egg rack, she’ll appreciate your work!
Awesome! Thank you!
Awesome!
Lacey's hair, those curls! Awesome hair, Lacey. I love the egg holder, you guys did a great job.
Love this idea! Think I would have kept the holes on the top tier though so I could rotate the trays in order to rotate the eggs by which I need to use first.
We should have done that lol oh well
@@AcreHomestead lov lov your egg cabinet and Katrina M's suggestion above is definitely included in an email to my hubby for this honey-do project....got duck and chicken eggs and overwhelmed, maybe this cabinet will keep me organized. side note: need to unload eggs and your pasta and mayo vids are very helpful..... thxs ladies
Wow, I love this! Lacy is very talented!
She is!! Thanks!! Sorry I'm late to reply!
@@AcreHomestead No worries!! I know you have a life outside YT! Happy 4th of July weekend!
Super cute!!
Can I just buy one that holds a dozen eggs for each shelf? Y'all are Rock Stars!!!! I am not a builder...too much math.
Thanks! I'm not either
Ok, I've just found your channel and I'm pretty curious: was Josh paying attention?
(11:05)
Haha nope! Lol
I am soooo glad you asked!
Awesome.
Just found your channel with the onion top pesto and had to watch. I have onions and love that idea. Then I saw your egg holder and thought I really want one. So unique and original! Thanks for posting the link of how it was made. I agree with the others who would purchase one. I'm not handy with woodwork. LOVE your channel so far. Glad I found it!
Awesome! Thank you!
I wouldn't even try to make one of these - but I would buy one from you :)
This is awesome!
Lacey, it amazing!
my daughter found one of these at a yard sale and bought it for me!!! :) I love it but mine doesn't have the clearance between the shelves like yours does. :)
You go! Love this
Thanks! It was fun!
Way to go Lacey!
Great job girls. Super cute.
Becky, this was absolutely fantastic and you both did a brilliant job. 👏👌👍👏🤜💖❤
