I found out very recently that one of the producers of this show also worked on "Buffy"!! As if there weren't enough similarities, this 'Angel' like twist hits hard!! Love this show!
And how they spent that entire fight listing each other's flaws but never said anything genuinely hurtful and visibly respected each other's boundaries
I suspected Tyler from the end of episode 3 when he was screaming in the bathtub. not sure exactly why but ever since I saw that image with the voiceover, I kept my eye on him and he was just *too* nice and helpful at the most convenient times, almost as if he was trying to distract her. anyway, I'm *so* glad you weren't spoiled because your reaction to the reveal was iconic! ❤
I think there is a connection with Kimbot that the flowers exposes that won't be explored until Season 2. Just a theory. I also think the 'redherrings' in season one connect to things coming in season 2. You have to realize that the showrunners have three seasons plotted out, so we don't know all the connections yet, only how they are falling together for the first season to have its threads completed.
On the nature of her visions, I think because Wednesday keeps herself grounded with a cynical outlook, her negative visions are more accurate than her mother's positive ones that could have been muddled by passions and optimism
The Jekyll and Hyde monster idea was a cool twist on monsters. Not an original idea but a new take on it which i love. Hyde unlocked by chemical-Plants-garden teacher. Wednesday not only cried for Thing but even said please to Fester to keep trying. She has a larger soft spot than she likes to admit. It’ll be interesting seeing her character development should we get more seasons.
Had you not known that there was one more episode, the assumption of Dr. Kinbott and Xavier as the antapogonists seems entirely plausible. It's only because of that knowledge that they could be ruled out. That and the fact that Kinbott was killed.
I finally put together how Tyler asked Wednesday, "Is that your pet?", referring to Thing. Then Wednesday cried when almost losing Thing. Just like her pet scorpion.
Yes, I have really enjoyed rewatching this series with you, your reactions and comments. Happy how you praise Eugene! I think Wednesday and Eugene together would be a little like Morticia and Gomez. That would be my fantasy! Buckle up for the end of this ride in this season!
I know this is completely irrelevant and im not searching for a response, but I just have to say you are gorgeous. Also I love your outfits. Those dresses look great.
I have seen other shows where I find it kind of annoying that they had so much misdirection. But I think it was done pretty well in this show. Dont really recall exactly but I think it was Broadchurch which annoyed me in how they handled the misdirection just really rubbed me the wrong way.
There are too many red herrings in this show. But it does get better in the final episode. Where it is revealed that the killer is actually Pugsley and he followed Wednesday to the school. And his inner anger issues come out, and how he protects his sister. But I was sad to see that in the next episode Wednesday gets stabbed and then Pugsley has to find her killer. Wednesday Season 2: "The Investigations of Pugsley", is going to be interesting, and it will be nice to see flashbacks to Wednesday and Pugsley's relationship before her death, and I'm pretty sure she left him a hint as to her murderer. ;)
@@elizabethstrong6057 Think back to an earlier episode, and you'll see what I mean by 'clue'. Or if you haven't seen the final episode yet, you'll understand.
Follow the little clues they have placed all along the show...the slightly hidden ones like the flower Tyler gave Wednesday and you will figure out where the trail leads and that is all I can say. Can't wait to see your reaction to the final episode when it all comes into focos and all the peices come together.

I'm horrible with misdirection. for several episodes I'd thought that the pop eyed lady in the pick up truck from episode one was the Hyde or had something to do with it.
Fester only appeared for one episode and almost stole the show but honestly I was a bit let down that it was Tyler in the end, it was just...too cliché, especially since Wednesday is writing a crime novel
I think that was rather the point, actually. The fact that it was so cliché was part of the misdirect. However, I think they may have gone for the cliché because the focus of the show is on the journey of the characters and the mystery is largely set dressing for the character drama.
That scene of Wednesday and Uncle Fester saving Thing is one of the best scenes of the whole show.
IKR
I love Wednesday's huge smile when she saw her uncle.
The thing I loved about Fred Armisen's Uncle Fester is that it's a delightful synthesis of Jackie Coogan's and Christopher Lloyd's.
Wednesday crying about Thing was such a emotional and heart wrenching scene 😢
Yes. Fred Armisen is Uncle Fester. You are correct, ma’am! 😊
11:15 I cried. It was very upsetting. So glad he recovered!
Literally only time she has a genuine full blown smile is when Fester shows up.

The show really kept me guessing right up until the end. I'm not the smartest guy ever, but I have to give it credit for keeping things engaging lol
I like how even though in the last episode Enid said she was done with Wednesday she kept finding excuses to go see her. 🙂
And how they spent that entire fight listing each other's flaws but never said anything genuinely hurtful and visibly respected each other's boundaries
Wednesday swore to herself that she'd never cry again, except when it came to a severed hand!
Xavier and Dr Kimbot never once tried to deny they were the Hyde and Laurel. They just instantly tried to turn it around on Wednesday.
Your scream when we found out about Tyler, LOL loved it

*"Of course, the first boy I kiss..."*
Well, I wonder what Joel Glicker thinks when he hears that?

0:40 eugene is the best character ever
Thank you for a great reaction to an awesome episode! I especially enjoyed your genuine shock at 17:23. Keep up the great work!
Well there goes that theory! Those were my exact words too. My first boy I kiss would be a crazy serial killer. LOL 😂 this is so good
Two words: Joel Glicker.
gotta love uncle fester
I feel embarrassed that I cried for a hand, so glad thing survived 😂
Uncle Fester is like Batman when he disappear 😆

Wtf spoiler
"Thing missed you" - "I missed him, too"
I think, we all know who "thing" substitutes here...
Wednesday is a very great show
I wish I had an uncle Fester in my own family
They keep on getting better and better
I don't mean to be mean, but people won't know the context or meaning of your comments if you don't put a timestamp or more info.

Well they said the Hyde often turns on its master

I had the same journey about suspects.

Season 2 Enid and Wednesday better hook up, even the actresses want them to kiss
My guesses were totally wrong and the reveals took nothing away from the enjoyment overall eagerly waiting series 2
Thank you jess i was waiting to see your reaction to the ending of this episode (episode 7) and i laughed thanks for the giggle jess xoxo

Black Dahlia = coincidence?
I don't think so.
Jenna fans are way over the top
God I love your reactions 😂
Love your reaction!!! ❤❤
The black dahlia that Tyler gave Wednesday is actually a clue. I'd say more, but it would spoil things.
I didn't realize that, thought it was a black rose, oops

Hard disagree on him nearly stealing the show, I forgot about him as quickly as he was introduced, personally.
