Pierogi is proof that superheroes are real! In just a few clicks, you saved a lot of victims!
It's more than just a few clicks, and it takes the finesse with the conversation and the in-depth knowledge of the computer programs etc to get to where he goes. But Pierogi is so good he makes it look easy.

I discovered your channel a week or so ago and have been watching all of your old videos. While watching this one, I got a call on my cell phone, which I had already marked as spam. I decided to answer it anyway. It was from "Amazon" about suspicious activity so I decided to connect to them. A woman with a thick Indian accent was telling me a fraudulent amazon order for an Iphone was placed on my account and they could cancel it for me. I told her I had ordered the Iphone for my granddaughter's birthday and she really didn't know what to say. She hung up and I immediately got another call from the same number with a different amount. I asked they why they kept calling me about my order. They hung up again. I wouldn't (and couldn't) do what you do, but I have to say it was fun to trip them up and get them off their script! Thanks so MUCH!!!

I lack each and every item of tech skill and knowledge needed to fool them. Genius on your part to get them all flustered by talking about "real" transactions that you initiated. You can still get them to waste 10, 15 minutes, maybe more. Nice work.
I got scam calls, (that I had previously labeled as scammers) while watching these videos too 🤔 I got no patience for these ridiculous people.
I sent them to VM.
If I got a call, I would probably just give them a, "better," callback number," and have it be the number of a three letter Federal agency. Haven't figured out which one I would want yet.
These guys destroying scammers are modern day HEROES (all capital letters). My greatest respect !!

I love that you and your team proactively teach, give background, and help victims where possible. It's not just a "prank the scammer" channel that does nothing but brings entertainment but still feels unsatisfying. This channel is amazing, this community is amazing, and I've been sharing your channel to everyone I can. No one else even comes close.
If I had 100k I would donate to this man, for all his hard work and saving people from getting scammed and exposing these scammers. Sadly not everyone will see these videos.

BOTH of my senior parents were moments from falling for this and thank God I told them not to respond and to call Amazon directly! They were grateful, but they also think I’m paranoid because I always say “it’s probably a scam” but 99% of the time it really is!!! I’ve walked in to a close friend of mine just like this ON THE COMPUTER about to be scammed and immediately took the phone and laughed HARD. Then said keep trying loser, and hung up. I just hope they were as mad as some of these scammers in these videos lol

Wouldn't they learn themselves, they've lived through all of technology and they have a lot of education. If young kids have learnt it I don't understand why older people don't understand it

This guy! He is so FREAKING smart! He's like one of those plate spinners, they have to be able to concentrate on a dozen perfectly spinning plates at a time, but like, at savage-genius-level. He uses the same jokes for years "any decks?" daring them to KNOW. He's a real-life super hero!!!

The guy almost sounded like he was laughing when you asked if he was like your son. They sound kind they're smiling and enjoying it until they realize the tables have been turned.
I am so happy that there are people out there trying to catch these scammers out. I have recently found your channel because I have recently been scammed myself pretending to be by bank, and it makes me physically sick that they do this to people and think that they can get away with it. I am usually switched on when it comes to things like this, but they are getting so clever. It makes me so sad to see other people and not just myself fall for it! Not just America, here in Aus as well. Elderly friend of the family got scammed and they locked up her computer. She had to take it to a tech guy to fix it.
Americans are wild trying to give death penalties for financial crimes there's literal serial killers out there one could argue that penalty for but this is just ridiculous jail is a thing but you're not any better than them for wanting to outright kill them.
He should call some of these scamers and say: "oh, I have plenty of money, I don't want a refund" to see they working out to convince her to give the info.
Or when they do the wrong "deposit" say that you won't give their money back
They do this some time but it pretty much just ends the scam bait because these scammers can't go off script and ad-lib much of anything. They aren't smart people especially not the one's actually making the calls.

I got a medicare/medicaid scam call while watching you and Kit last night. They were trying to sell me health insurance, trying to tell me I don't have dental or vision coverage as an active duty soldier. I about laughed in his face. Once you tell them you're an employee of the federal government, they hang up real quick
Thank you for your service. That probably wasn’t a scam, just a bad insurance agent. I work with Insurance companies who offer Medicare plans and not all the time are the leads people we can help.

Text messaging scams have really picked up the pace in the last year as well, scammer will use any tech medium to get you hooked in. Very happy that S/P and other scam baiters are here to help us out.

As someone who works in Geek Squad it's so cathartic to see you giving these guys the business. We often have folks come in that have unfortunately fallen victim to these scammers. It hurts knowing that we couldn't talk with or help the victims prior to the issue because they thought they WERE talking with us, or someone legitimate. Knowing there's someone such as you that makes it hell for these criminals definitely serves as an uplift.

As someone that works in a telecommunications company you are a godsend I have so many old people ringing up saying they got scammed but the best I can do is give them the tools to be more aware of when people are trying to scam you.
I just rewatched Mark Rober's "Glitter Bomb 3.0" video. Now he concentrates on porch pirates, but in this video, he also teamed up with Jim Browning to deliver some glitter bomb and fart spray justice to the mules and supervisers these scumbags use.
Now? I think he started with porch pirates.

I cleaned my email out a bit under 2 months ago, when I checked today I had over 25,000 (25K, Twenty-Five Thousand) new emails, not counting Spam, scammers beware, Perogi is coming for you. The fact that you guys are joining forces, with Mark Rober, Jim Browning, Kit, with more to follow, You Guys are definitely Heros in my book. Pleasant Green, ScamBaiter, ScamSlayer, HeavenlyHacker, ScammerNightMare, PCProtector, etc.

Just recently my grandma living in another state got an Amazon email very similar in format to the one shown at around 0:12 and unfortunately she opened it. She called us to see if we knew anything about it and we told her that it was a scam and to immediately call my cousin who does work with IT and computers.
I can only hope it got resolved before any serious damage was done.

When asked if anyone else has access to your amazon go on rant about how it might be your "husband" buying things for his mistress put him on the phone and get the scammer to delete it from the purchase history.
