    I think people with more muscle and are heavier/leaner will really like these. I wear them over my Nimbus now. It took a few runs to realize I actually like running in an UA shoe

    Look people can say what they want BUT everyone is different. Everyone’s expectations and what they want is different. I work for Under Armour and have for 8 years. This is hands down the most stable, and most comfortable shoe we have ever made. Yes most of their shoes are like WTF are you doing ? Not so with these. They are so comfortable, and so STABLE! The cushion is insane for walking around or working a 12 hour shift all day on concrete floors. These are amazing

    under armor has been making a name for themselves. wont be trying this shoe but will definitely try some of their stuff in the future.

    Thanks for this review. Don’t have a UA shoe but would like one as I have some of their kit which is fantastic and this looks fab but the weight worries me a bit. If they’re 320grams in your size 8 then they must be pushing 350 in my size 10 !? That’s much heavier than my much loved triumph 20 so can’t see me rushing to buy sadly.

    • @BenIsRunning
      @BenIsRunning  8 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah I forgot to mention. The kit I tried was very high quality. As soon as they bring it down a little which I think will be possible with future versions this will be a great max cushion option

    I used to work for under armour and their shoes were initially what got me into running, particularly through the chip in some of their shoes that connects to MapMyRun. Since then I’ve kicked on had to leave their shoes behind because they just weren’t quite there yet, but I’m happy that they’re moving up!

      Ah nice! After speaking with the other media invitees, they were seemed pretty conclusive that this next generation of running shoes from UA are definitely a step in the right direction

    Good info thanks. Looks like a potentially good option to investigate for easy runs. Sounds similar to Nike invincible. Personally I don’t mind a little heavier shoe for recovery / easy runs, could even be a good thing for training benefit. Comfort, stability and good cushioning are key for me on these type of runs.

    I have very light and comparatively very heavy shoes , all that i like and to be honest i have NEVER found the weight of a shoe makes any difference for me .

    Great review thanks Ben. Will you be doing a full review after 50-100km? Or it's just too heavy to keep running in?

    Looking at possibly getting these, not for running though but more long walks, like 2-4 hours around town & along the seafront with my camera. Do you reckon these will be any good for that?
    My current shoes felt quite hard on the foot after around 1.5-2 hours in my last walk, especially around the heel.

    Good looks, probably very comfortable. But on the expensive side, heavy, large drop. If a company wants to charge extra they better have a brand name, a carbon plate, or be light weight.

    UA do not exist in the running world, I’ve never seen any serious runner wearing UA ever (I’m based in uk & ME, maybe US they are more popular).
    Personally I think they will find it very hard to break into this market. Goodluck to them.

      Fair comment, but I’m speaking generally within the running community. How many “amateur” runners do you see in training or on the start line wearing UA? Very few in my experience.
