Great video as usual and always a good refresher. Do find it confusing that margins are set using 2 different controls (i.e., Column Spacing and Margin). Wish both were in a single control like Padding directly below it, which is more familiar to users who have manually coded CSS margins.
Would it be considered a best practice now to control column visibility using Rendering Logic rather than the Column Visibility controls found on the General tab? I believe this produces smaller code for (ideally) faster page rendering. Finally, wondering how the new flexible content rendering architecture of Avada 8 may affect all this. Would love to see a demo of this in action soon to prepare for the update before release.
Regarding your first point, yes, rendering Logic is best practice when possible. As for Avada 8, you will just have to sign up for the Beta program when that is released.
Great video as always. My question: What's the difference between Column Spacing and Margin? Is it just one is for top and bottom while the other is left and right? They both deal with spacing OUTSIDE the column and both are adjusted with the purple drag handles.
From the devs - Columns spacing is on the container and will set the spacing between ALL columns inside of the container. It is the same as setting the column spacing options to the same value on each individual column of the container. So, it is a shortcut to easily set the spacing evenly for for all columns. Obviously, when using the individual settings on the column, one can achieve completely different values per column and also per left/right. Difference to margin is mainly, that the left/right margin is taken into account for some calcs in the container to make sure the overall widths are adding up.
Thanks, so many options!
Thank you!

Great job, I love these Avada nuggets of information.
Is there a recommended plug in to display my 5 latest RUclips videos on my home page ?
Sorry, there's no way to automate this at present. You can always request the feature request at my.avada.com/make-a-request/
