2:40 The dragon is one of my favourite bosses. Because with his fire breath he is still one of the strongest creatures in Ark. Back in the old days his battle was the most terrifying with him flying above you, shooting meteors at you and the music was the final touch, that made the dragon the most epic boss for a long time.
It’s a shame this theme is never heard due to the annoying noises the dragon makes when it gets hurt and the screams of kids after seeing their rexs go up in flames
Took it down with 19 well-bred therizinos (no mutations, single player), with 15-20 sweet veggie cakes each, and a yutyrannus. The yuty was nearly dead and a quarter or so of the theriz died anyway, but we won within a few minutes! Remember, herbivores take reduced damage from the fire and lava, so NEVER run into this boss fight with rexes! Be wary of the dimorphodon minions; they damage the rider directly and not the mount. It also has pteranodon minions, but those are nowhere near as irritating. Good luck to those who need it! Edit: I had primitive flak armor, which broke at the start of the fight. I just chugged med brews and survived, somehow. I was playing SINGLE PLAYER, which has slightly nerfed bosses compared to official. If on a server, adjust things as you and your tribe mates seem fit (mutations, more veggie cakes, ascendant armor, etc.)
I am very appreciative of this advice though it means I’ll have to put in more work breeding and raising therizinos and taming a giant bee for honey. But I was hoping to be able to do this on my first couple tries as i found it hard getting some of the tributes like the giga heart and the artifact of the immune and strong

But all the absurdity of the moment immediately fades away as you witness your beloved dinos being engulfed into flames! Then your only thoughts are: "I just want this thing to bleed as fast as possible"! Good luck, survivor! You'll need it...
Building ruins, flowing lava, erupting volcano, volcanic ash rising like a hurricane with lightning. And among all of them, you see the shadow descends..... After playing all the way to Genesis, I have to say the Dragon Arena is still the best made arena. I still remember my first time getting in, the music started and I was like "Shit I am fucked".
"I can finally take on Dragon! I've got Rexes, a Yuty to buff and Daedons with lots of food to heal, all of which have amazing stats! What could go wrong?" *All of my tames die in the middle of his health bar* "Well shit I'm not doing that again."

The final boss,I've made it so far...The broodmother is dead and that wretched ape is gone aswell,but I can only imagine what horrors this will bring. I decided to not take barney to this fight,which was a good decision,I entered the battle arena,flames flickered in the distance,as the dragon stood tall,I swear I could see a grin on its face...it incinerated one of my therizinos,but,that's when the fight truly started,my therizinos started slashing violently at its steel-like hide,this thing struck more fear into my heart then anything else on the ARK had...I took out a grenade,taking off the pin and throwing it right into this things face...It barely flinched,and took into the skies,sending it's minions to attack me,but those things did nothing to my therizinos,simply got slashed to bits,I took out my now repaired rifle and shot,and shot. A ray of fire was shot at me,sending rubble flying 20 feet into the air,I was quickly hit by a sharp pain in the side,I turned to see a dimorphodon biting my side,I quickly stomped it into the dirt,it's jaw snapping quickly,I quickly turned,the dragon was tearing through a pair of therizinos while the others were distracted by minions. I saw them fall,and another one be pushed into the bubbling lava... The screams of agony nearly made me cry,but I quickly took out my shotgun and blew into its neck,blood pouring into the scorching lava... It took off again,smacking me into a massive rock,It nearly knocked me out,I even felt the blood coming out of my skull... I took out my ascendant sword and sliced at its ankle,making it drop. It got up and incinerated the rest of my therizinos,I quickly got on one of them and slashes right through its neck as it murdered the last therizino standing. It turned and breathed a scorching breath of fire at my therizino,and as it was turned to ash,I leapt off and jammed my sword right between its eyes. It fell,letting out one last roar... 3 down... It's done... It's all over! Now all I have to do is get out via that cave...Though I still feel something is waiting there...
This has gotta be the best boss music out there man the menu theme from Skyrim and the combat music in the DOOM games are the only things that come close

@@Fallensabre-uw7hb this was a while back but i believe they were 280-320, they had like 25k hp if I recall with like 700-900 damage. I'd advise not using them as we replaced Therizinosaurus with the Deinosuchous from Valgeuro as they do bleed effect and the dragon can't hit them
After killing a monkey and a spider, you have to fight Spyro. Spyro’s been abusing steroids lately, but the real fight is against your sanity. Spyro will beat the everliving hell out of your tames. He also doesn’t like walking so you might want to get good flyers. Oh wait, those don’t exist yet.
The dragon is genetically engineered like all creatures in the ARKs, the dragons IS meant to be humongous and more powerful than the titans (except the king) due to it being a part of the tek cave and ascension as a whole
The alpha dragon of ark ( have the most powerful flame in the world) have 1 million hp and is INSANELY MASSIVE. IN elden ring, all dragon is dumb and small, only placiduzax and lanseax can 2vs 1 the dragon. But only in her prime, but in elden ring the dragon are so week, so the alpha dragon will be anylate all elden ring with no mercy, but maliketh, can stop this

Bringing rexes against the dragon isn’t bad, it’s just better to do it with herbivores, such as therizinos. You should still bring a yuty along.

I think the battle would gave been a lot better if instead of the usual dinos the dragon called in wyverns instead

Don’t worry, dragon takes roughly 3x more damage, so he goes down pretty quickly

I remember our first Alpha fight, it was 18 Therizino's, a daeodon and a yuti, only two therizs made it out alive with 1k hp left each.
May I ask what level they all were?
@@Fallensabre-uw7hb this was a while back but i believe they were 280-320, they had like 25k hp if I recall with like 700-900 damage. I'd advise not using them as we replaced Therizinosaurus with the Deinosuchous from Valgeuro as they do bleed effect and the dragon can't hit them

The dragon is genetically engineered like all creatures in the ARKs, the dragons IS meant to be humongous and more powerful than the titans (except the king) due to it being a part of the tek cave and ascension as a whole
