I loved this video, but honestly Shokuho is trash imo. I mean nothing against her looks wise, but I think as a waifu she's insufferable. That's even before her mental out skill too. Like, these people are looking at the one who constantly antagonized Mikoto, just for being her "replacement" to be at Kamijou's side (at least that's what I heard), when it was no one's fault. I can't imagine Mikoto to be the one who start it first, since she's generally kind, unless people did something to her. Mikoto is much nicer than she is, since she looks like she has maternal instinct, she can take good care of Kamijou (which I think she would be the same as Index, completely useless, because she is so hell bent on being a Queen and Princess, wanting to be pampered and spoiled, and can only offer her sluttiness), good with kids and more. Remember in Railgun T? When Shokuhou mind controlled a girl who was familiar with Mikoto (Kanna-chan), just so she can make fun of Mikoto? Tell me that's what a kind person would do. And then, there's NT 22R. This is spoiler though. For a girl who loves Kamijou oh-so much, she betrayed him in the end. I can imagine that they can have a talk first to solve the "who's fake" problem, and if she betrays him after that, then that's acceptable. But no, she betrayed him before that because the miracle is happening. Seriously, do you really love the guy? You even approached the guy in NT 16, completely aware that he won't remember you forever, when you can just avoid him. And then, there's the "feels forceful" problem. I don't mind her past with Kamijou, but the way they set her up to be part of the main female characters (Index, Mikoto, Othinus) in the series is the problem. Index and Othinus are acceptable as they have to stay with Kamijou while Mikoto, she is slowly becoming part of the group, as she appears regularly around him and she even shares beautiful moments with Kamijou. But Shokuhou, it's just so sudden. They rarely share moments that are highlighting their relationship that can go both ways. If there are, it's always Shokuhou who receives something from Kamijou. After Kamijou can't remember Shokuhou anymore, I don't think she approaches him anymore. The times they met each other after that "incident" must have been less and short compared to Mikoto meeting Kamijou. Yet, she already becomes part of the heroine in the final volumes of NT, despite the low amount of times they met before that. Now for Shokuhou, she already knows him before so that's fine. But not for Kamijou. Index, Mikoto, and Othinus has a bond with Kamijou, and him with them. It needs to go both ways and they were a part of their normal everyday life to each other. Not to mention, Shokuhou was only a part of the group because she follows Mikoto to England. Mikoto told her not to come with her, but she did. Aren't you the same girl who hates Mikoto that you always tried to mind control her? Why are you suddenly always approaching her? So, that's the thing. The direction that they're going with Shokuhou are just fast, which makes it forceful.
@@blazinglightning1425 I think you said it pretty well there, it does in fact feel forceful and I would even like to high light that the relationship with Mikoto feels very earned over a long period of time in the context of the story. But when a character all of a sudden gets kind of popular and then starts getting a bigger role it definitely feels forced. I'm not sure if that's the reasoning behind the character but it seems like people had a bit of an interest for whatever individual reasons and she became more prominent.
@@UlquiorraZumaeta I think the execution should be good if they want to make it sudden. Shokuhou isn't the case though. First, Kamijou couldn't remember her so that backfires. This is a special case so I don't mind it but because of this, Shoukuhou would need to do more by sharing these moments with him, even if he wouldn't remember. So this is the 2nd, she doesn't have those moments throughout the LN. Third, her relationship with Mikoto was supposed to be greatly disliked, (though mostly from her and Mikoto is starting to trust her), so why is she constantly approaching Mikoto? Fourth, they don't have a sense of normalcy in their life, though Kamijou is special case again, but if they at least actually show that for Shokuhou, the same way Mikoto had with he shenanigans, then it wouldn't really feel forceful. I think they exaggerate Shokuhou too much. Some parts of what they did for Shokuhou are still acceptable, not everything is bad. Like her past with Kamijou.
