Watch Mike from IK record a song with AmpliTube Studio - the DAW application inside AmpliTube on an iPad. He'll take you step-by-step recording instruments like guitar and electric bass and using the powerful Loop Drummer drum tool also available inside AmpliTube. He uses iRig PRO for instrument and microphone input (and it also has MIDI IN). More details on iRig PRO at www.ikmultimedi...
Learn how to quickly record tracks, punch in, punch out, edit, loop, do all kinds of powerful things (including mix) all inside AmpliTube Studio and Recorder add-ons.
AmpliTube 3.0 comes with a built-in single-track recorder that you can expand to a powerful full-fledged professional multi-track recorder by adding the 8-track (4-track on iPhone) recorder plus master effects section (available as in-app purchase), and the new AmpliTube Studio DAW-style editing suite. With multi-track recording and AmpliTube Studio enabled, your device is now transformed into a professional mobile recording and editing suite for complete music production.
That's the Metal W which is exclusive to iRig HD and iRig PRO owners (one of the exclusive models that unlocks when you register/connect those devices). Thanks!
how can i export my record to mp3 or mp4? i can´t find the way to do it. thanks
Can tracks from amplitube be able to sent as wave files via Dropbox to be edited or recorded from other computers or devices?
Great video! Can you drag and drop audio onto tracks ?
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Very powerful app and some instruction was needed. Now, why would anyone want anything else?? Thanks.
How do you trim or cut the length of a song once you're done recording all the parts? I recorded a simple song and when I exported it to itunes, it had about 10 seconds of silence at the end of the song that I want to trim. Any help would be appreciated!
Is there a way you can sync this app to youtube? Without closing the app.
Cool.
Still waiting for Sample Tank 64-bit.
when I have a drum loop and try to record guitar, it just says recording is disabled while loop is engaged?
Is there any way how to give a name to each track?
I’m having a hard time using this app to record acoustic guitar. I have an EV 664 vintage mic (position at acoustic soundhole) > Irig HD2 > AmpliTube app.

What more could you ask for full studio at your finger tips

How do you record the video using the audio from amplitube?
what 2 guitars was that in this video? also the bass too? tell me please?
Nice vid
Need some help guys , how do you export individual tracks (to re mix in Logic for example) . I am so far only able to export projects which is of little or no use .
At this time there is no automated stem/track export. I will relay your suggestion to the team.
@@ikmultimedia Is this still the case five years later? No way to export individual tracks/stems?
So, once you’ve made a track, can you share it on Social Media or whatever? What’s the best way to do that?
You can export your tracks in multiple ways/formats and then share them on your social channels.
@@ikmultimedia explain one of them
@@jubbaronny The methods of export are explained in more detail in the manual. I would recommend taking a look there and following the steps.
My issue is I record the drum track, then once I record the twin guitars and I hear the final product the drums are affected by the effects and the whole project sounds echoey and reverberated. I have no idea what I am doing to change this as when I am recording the individual tracks they all sound great until I finish. Somewhere my drum track is getting effects put on it when I recorded it clean. Any thoughts on what might be going on?
Make sure the FX button on the drum track is not engaged. If that is not the issue, our support team would be happy to assist via www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support
What is the amp used at 1:41?
What version of amplitube is this?
Do they all come with the studio feature??
AmpliTube for iPad and the Studio add-on is available as an in-app purchase. www.amplitube.com/ipad
How come when I record my guitar with pedal effects (like whammy) via iRig Stomp i/o, when I play it back the pedal effect is not applied... ?
Please make sure FX is engaged for that track. There is more information on how to record with AmpliTube in the in-app user manual and if you still run into trouble you can ask our tech support staff at www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support for some one-on-one assistance.
How do i save the project and share it?
You can find the process to save and export in the in-app user manual in detail.
The kind of useless answer I've come to expect from ikmultimedia whenever the lack of intuitive interface design features for normal everyday operations is exposed. Funny. The entire in-app help menu includes no section mentioning: Export. Share. File Handling. Save... None of the obvious so the user is expected to start guessing which of the headings might be the correct topic area... and then guess and then guess and then guess. Perhaps if you had told Zozo (and myself which header contains the topic) this answer might have been useful. Perhaps if there wasn't the obvious lack of a button in either the DAW or the Recorder interfaces for accessing file-handling. Why would one even bother to use this to create/capture/mix audio if they weren't planning to move it out of the app environment somehow? The obvious answer is... they wouldn't.... so... main feature... available? Not available? Answer: Read the entire manual which has no keyword search functionality. Since you don't know the header start with the first one and scroll to the bottom and click the next button and do the same with the next topic header.... oh, and by the way, the stomp and amp pages will be dozens of screen lengths of advertisement to help you buy more product.
The answer ikmultimedia could not be bothered to give is:
1. Look for the PROJECTS button in either the Recorder screen or the Studio DAW screen. Bottom Left hand corner.
2. In the resulting screen with the title "AmpliTube" the top will have a menu bar with a plus sign 'button' on the left and an Edit 'button' on the right.
3. Do not select any of the projects below the menubar but instead click the Edit 'button'.
4. This changes the menubar title to "Select a Song" and for 'buttons', has a fairly standard looking greyed-out 'export' style 'button' on the far left and then what I assume is a Duplicate 'button'. To the far right is an active Done 'button'.
5. This will add a Delete "X" button to each of your projects/songs listed in a grid below the menu bar. Don't click it.
6. Touch the project you wish to export.
7. This will un-grey-out the Export and Duplicate 'buttons'.
8. Touch the Export button and a context pop-up menu will open with the title "Share" with three item menus, "File Sharing", "AirDrop / E-mail", and "Soundcloud". You should be able to get your song out of Amplitube via any of those three options.
9. I just chose "File Sharing". A process dialog happened and then was replaced with a modal notification titled "Export complete: Your song is now available from the file sharing folder." You know... whatever that is. Touch "Done"
10. Ah... it's so obvious (not). In the bottom Menu Bar throughout Amplitube there is a 'button' shaped like an Eighth Note between an icon of a tuning fork on your left and a loop icon on your right. Touch the Eighth Note icon to peel out a pop-up section titled "Song".
11. Less Obvious still, because even then there is no standard expected 'export' button to share with Dropbox or Drive or Box or any other service, or to send the audio to another audio app on your ipad.
12. However, Your wav file should appear there. If so, it means you did the export correctly and have a wav file... you just still can't get to it and do anything useful with it.it
12. At this point I think you have to connect your device to iTunes and find the "File Sharing Folder" related to Amplitube and once the device has synced it will appear in that area. On mine, it has done so... When looking at my tablet in the Apps section and then in the File Sharing area I can see the file, but since iTunes refuses to successfully sync for for the last two hours, I'm never ever going home or sleeping.
I've given this company sooo much money and even if their software worked, nothing stops it from CONSTANTLY ADVERTISING to me when I use my PAID FOR iRigProDuo, BlueBoard, Amplitube, Studio, a massive number of stomps and amps, an iRig, whatever the recorder mic I bought to put in the soundhole in my mandolin (which was useless), etc. When I launch a piece of software I have to dismiss dialog after dialog... sometimes dozens of them if it's been a while since I used the app. What terrible abuse of paying customers.
Does this software comes with the irig hd2 ?
iRig HD 2 unlocks the full gear and base features of AmpliTube for iPhone and iPad. You can see what gear and features are included at www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irighd2/index.php?pp=irig-hd2-app The single-track recorder is included, the full 8-track recorder is available as an in-app purchase.
would amplitube 3 work on ipad 1 ?!
From www.ikmultimedia.com/products/amplitubeipad/index.php?pp=amplitube-for-ipad-specs
AmpliTube for iPad is compatible with iPad Air, iPad 4th generation, iPad 3rd generation, iPad 2 and iPad mini. iOS 6.0 or later is required.
ikmultimedia thank you :) another question please, do you have any plans to make an amplitube for android tablets ?
Ahmad Hasan We will have more apps coming for Android but AmpliTube would be further off due to problems with audio latency on the Android OS level. We keep working on what we can on our end and will hope for more progress so we can bring you AmpliTube in the future on the Android platform when it will perform in a way that is up to the AmpliTube standard.
ikmultimedia first of all thanks for the quick reply :) and second : i don't think i'm gonna wait for android...ipad 2 is in order :D
Ahmad Hasan Sounds like a good plan for music creation. There are so many apps and accessories available to you.
Thanks for the vid. But so much is skipped. Like how you got the drum track into studio to begin with. Some instructors go so fast they leave a LOT to be assumed. I wish there was a more comprehensive training video on Amplitube. I'd even pay for it if it would go step by step. This tutorial is NOT step by step.
