Love Bloomer. It's the first trail I ever rode, twenty plus years ago, so it has a special place in my heart. My steel Huffy bike did stuff there it was never intended for. Good times.
You know, there's a bunch of cool features now where that drop is. You should check it out before someone decides it's time to tear it all down or something. 😁👍
That place definitely needs a signage upgrade. Everybody rides its completely differently, going every which way, and everybody thinks their the ones going the right way. 🤦
I think they tore it down after someone had a bad accident there. I haven't really checked. But here's roughly where it is(was?): maps.app.goo.gl/2u7n4uBphwE9o4oF8
Bloomers pretty sweet. We got a route where we meet at the paint creek trail, then go rip around bloomer for a while and play on the goat paths and on the gnar, play around in Rochester for a few, maybe grab a bite to eat and then we venture over and do a Stoney lap or two. It's a good time.
You’ve got to come back to bloomer this summer, I happen to know there’s quite a few new jumps and berms that have been built the last few months ;), there’s another hidden section in between the switchbacks and that sketchy drop. There’s so much more now
Yup. _Everything_ looks muted on video. If something actually looks scary on video, then you _know_ it's probably unrideable for the average person irl. hehe
That's a bummer. Bloomer has a lack of signage, so the first time there is usually spent just finding which way to go. I'd love to show you around but I'm just too busy with work. I recommend trying to find someone in the local Facebook groups to meet up with. Someone that knows all the good spots to session. Good luck. 👍 I hope you like the shirt. 😊
I mean I thought in my head I had been to most of the trails within an hour of Detroit but I really don't think I have been to bloomer at all even though I have heard of it, so maybe I have missed a few others as well? that's actually good news
Download the trailforks app. Or use trailforks.com directly. You should be able to find everything there, especially in map mode. It's probably the best site / app for looking for trails. 👍😁
that first chute is a gnarly little one, really washed out I haven't seen anyone ride that in years! the drops are actually bandit trail, kinda poor maintenance and could be a lot of fun. love that trail though!
The drop actually isn't that bad after a doing it a few times. That's the third time I've done that rinky dink drop, and I can finally say it doesn't scare the crap out of me. Third time's the charm I guess. Those little gnarly bits are hella fun though. I wish they were longer. 😁
I mean, you guys have some amazing trails. I wish I could ride the trails in your videos. They look spectacular. It would be awesome. Sadly, Southeast Michigan is pretty darn flat. Our biggest elevation changes are 100 ft.

other than him saying "love" all the time, i think this a good channel to discover good mountain biking trails.
Lol. That's what happens when you've been together for fourteen years. 😅 Glad you enjoy the channel though.

@@dukeofmtb My brother and I went last weekend. Didn't do the whole thing though. Next time.
@@gregorysutter9550 Nice. I still gotta clear that one gap jump there. 😅
@@dukeofmtb just remember to say "jump" just before, and "yeah boi!" after! 😁
@@gregorysutter9550 Yup. That is proper procedure. 😂
Bloomer.. Big Park 🏞️. I got lost. 😂longest Strava ride to date

i grew up as a kid in these woods shredding it up 25 years ago lol
it is sad that all of the wood features are gone now.
Yup. Hopefully we get new ones at Stony.
Where exactly are those small jumps I looked and I can’t find them

Ok thx
Hey just to let u know they’re still there I just checked today
@@patrickszalach3672 Yup. I heard just the drop is gone. Thanks.
@@dukeofmtb drop is still there just off to the side
10:25 you sound so weird😆
Lol, I did that on purpose. Trying to say it like my wife. 😅
Loving the features on your channel by the way. You should make a video of you just sessioning everything you made. 😁👍

Sounds like a day well spent. Ugh, already can't wait for spring.

Haha. Yup! We've been hitting that stuff. Even posted some clips on Insta.
The Duke of MTB I’ll have to follow you there
Dude, epic! I live like a mile from Bloomer so it's cool to see trails that I've riden being riden by someone better at mtb
😅👍
It's quite washed out now and some parts have little matenenice done on them recently
I gotta race this tommrow wonder how many kids gonna get hurt I’m 13 and this looks pretty good
Thanks man I’ll let you know how I do
I'm sure you guys will be fine. That drop isn't an official part of the trail, so no worries. 😁👍
The Duke of MTB if it was that’d be great cleared everything at boyne highlands looking for something bigger
@@boiboi3787 Congratulations! There's some really big drops there.
Those switchbacks look small on camera, but are very big irl

great content man!
Thank you so much. 😁
Went here today and never could tell if I was in the right trail most of the time. Found no gnar :( was repping my ya boi shirt tho!!

Nice work. I’m at bloomer a couple times a week. You got the hidden gems alright. Great video.
Thanks!

2015 Giant Reign, custom build.
