  • In our Carnival Radiance what we loved & what we hated video we will share some of the things we think are good and those we think may be an issue. The Carnival Radiance was a great ship. It has recently undergone dry dock to be refitted with new paint and upgrades inside. The ship has all the usual Carnival restaurants, Sunrise Restaurant, Sunset Restaurant, Fahrenheit 555, Guys Pig and Anchor, Guys Burger Bar, Blue Iguana Cantina, Seafood Shack, Shaq's Big Chicken, Bonsai Sushi and so much more, this tour will help familiarize you with this ship.

I am that guy that does watch the jewelry presentations and the port tv shows 😂. It started out as a joke many cruises ago and now I actually kind of miss it when I’m home

Going on the Radiance for my birthday in August and I'm so excited to visit California and Mexico for the first time. Thank you for your advice!

I’ll be on the Carnival Radiance in mid-June (my first cruise). I appreciate your videos detailing the pros & cons. Fortunately, the middle of June is kind of a dead period for sports (so I won’t miss much). Love your channels.

Back a few years ago on Carnival Glory they only had ESPN Deportes that showed soccer all day. I wanted baseball! On Carnival ship another time they showed Florida vs Alabama SEC championship game on pool big screen. That was awesome!
We don't eat at the buffets much so no big deal there.

I dont think there's less elevators on newer cruises, its just newer cruises are bigger and have a larger population capacity. This is a 2500 capacity ship. I was on a 6000 passenger ship and elevators were always slightly gridlocked

I went on the Radiance a few weeks ago with minimal expectations. Price was low, am I right? I actually really liked it; but that being said, I wouldn’t choose it again with my kids. We were doing a girls trip so it was perfect for that. It was very much a party cruise and there was NO quiet place on the ship. Even Serenity had loud music playing. I would take this cruise again with my husband but I wouldn’t bring my kids. I don’t think they would have liked it anyway. The room was pretty small in my opinion; the beds were separated on our trip and there wasn’t room for any kind of nightstand in between (I used my suitcase stuffed in between the wall and my bed and it worked ok). I agree there were a lot of public spaces but yeah it was loud no matter where I went anytime after 12pm. Totally agree on the ease of catching an elevator and getting on/off the ship. We had a spa balcony and I was a little disappointed with how small the spa was. I was glad to be on the 10th floor though.

The cabin crew will push your beds together if you ask.

Just went on this ship for the 3rd time, got back last week. The entertainment goes on until 1am! Just depends on what you enjoy to do. So much to do right once you get off the ship too. If you are not one who wants to wonder. Still can't find the 21 and older lounge pool area. Did you both find it?
My husbands first thought in the smoking section was all the smoke goes to the kids playing miniature golf right above us. All the outdoor play is right above the biggest smoking section.

Bummer about the lack of Sports on TV, but otherwise it sounds like a blast! Can't wait. There's a sports bar though?

The only way to catch sports is at the hero’s sports bar.

Last weekend while aboard, I couldn't watch the NBA playoffs on TNT bcuz Hero's only has ESPN....The channels in the room SUCKS as well. I had fun nonetheless but I didn't like that in particular

@@BigCheefaDaOG understandable bro. They should definitely take into consideration that certain times of year sport fans are going to want their fix even out in the ocean lol
