I have the crystal VR headse for 2 weeks now, I sold by Reverb G2. Everybody has their own favorites and react differently, but I absolutely love the Crystal Light! It always connects, the image is fantastic, the colors are really good (mine is the local dimming model). In MSFS, you do not need the 2 controllers at all, not adding them saves $100.

The Crystal is very demanding in MSFS but the clarity is so excellent. In Falcon BMS, I was impressed by the image. I have never seen such a clarity in a headset. The eye tracking is not an issue. This is the best headset at this time for the price.

*Question* (If you don't mind.) As a pilot with many hours in the air, do/did the VR headsets cause any disorientation/balance issues when first using them? Again, as a pilot with lots of experience, did you initially expect to feel the physical aspects (i.e., stopping, and your mind expects your momentum to move you forward). Not being a pilot, I found myself having a disorienting feeling in my head when the visuals indicated stopping, and my body did not feel anything-I'd tighten my core as I would if I were coming to a stop in a vehicle. I guess the last question is for anyone who has had the VR sets for a while: Does that all go away? I can definitely appreciate how you might miss the physicality of flying a jet.

If only their QC wasn't such dogshit. I was nearly fucked (four times) on the 5k+, went through 3 of them then the 4th one they tried to tell me to go fuck myself, until I did a chargeback on the last one, then they finally helped me out in returning and refunding... Each and every time dead screens... I went Reverb after that, and now I'm rocking the Quest 3 until something better comes along.
Why don't Pimax put some effort into reducing the form factor? Yes, the specs are great but the damn thing is so bulky and brick-like!
They can't until they develop pancake lenses and they don't seem to want to do that. Even the Pimax Super will not have pancake lenses. It's a shame they don't develop them.
I want this.. but won't happen in this lifetime. Great stuff, thanks for sharing.
The thing is I thought I did plenty of research to recommend this buy.
Most are giving rave reviews about it but my experience has not been so pleasent.
I understand it can take a bit of setup and you need good computer hardware.
Buutttt the iPd hassle and dead pixels are really annoying.
How would you be sure your aspheric lenses are well made if you cannot tell whether your adjustments are correct and your not doing it properly.
