no, she will never remove them, if you listen to 2003 it sounds just like 2016 here, around this time is when she was either getting lots of sleep or not speaking the day of her performances like she used to.
Here we can see how the quality, resonance and accuracy of the notes are improved in 2016! It's like her 2005 vocals. I'm expecting another "prime" for 2017.

2016 reminds me of 2003/2004 the belts were high & a clear
