As a new comer to EDF jet flying, this channel is very imformative, that flight however, was INCREDIBLE to me! An the sound of that jet as well as your piloting 👍👊
Very nice flying and suprisingly short take off! The speed of that plane is super impressive. You motivated me to charge my batteries again, I will go fly my 90mm Viper Jet tomorrow :)
Li-lon packs look like the best new generation for our edf jets. I am hoping to make some soon too. But hoping we can start buying them flight ready too soon!
it is usually true, of a manufactured scale edf jet, that the intake and exit areas are smaller than they should be, for an edf. however, if the fuselage cross-section is significantly larger than that of the edf unit, then, to-scale cross-sectional areas may be adequate.
Same drive ready in my new Carf Rebel Hot, but on 12s lipo. Not expecting 350km/h... but 300km/h would make my day. Ordered GPS sensor from Jeti to clock the speeds 🤗
Would be good to take one of the motors you already burned up and rewind it with heavier gauge wire and achieve the same inductance in wraps to match the original windings. This will give you a motor that can handle the voltage and amps a bit better without burning up. The motors are not hard to rewind. I have done several old burnt up motors myself. Making new ones for specific kv. Good luck and great looking plane and terrific flight!
Hi Wojtek, in this EDF have you monted the rotor with more distance from the stator as you have done with the 110, or is this monted in the regular position?
@@paulomartinho2341 Remember that the motor consist of 2 parts, winding and magnetic rotor. You are not able to cool down the rotor with heat sink. And the rotor is usually first to go...
Yes, but I think the magnet will not get hot by it self, is the heat of the cooper that heats the magnet. If you do not allow the winding and case to build temperature the magnet will not be heated as much. Does this make sense?
Good morning EDF Jet RC. To install on the B.H. VIPER the Jetfan 120mm 590kv, using 14s would the sound be realistic, similar to the WeMoTec 100mm? Would it be necessary to make any modifications to the Jetfan 120mm for installation?
Yay, the Viper master is back 😃🤙 Is that your wifey doing the filming? Great camera work as always. What camera is it? Sent you an email yesterday about my Viper, but youre probably swamped with work ✌️Cheers from Norway
NOTICE: an edf is Not an engine and does Not draw like one.! you are stressing motors if the Intake and ducting do not carry enough air, to the impeller. manufactures/others STILL mostly don't Comprehend, the following. there is a Minimum optimal intake cross-sectional area. that value is also THE optimal exit cross-sectional area. calculate the areas of the impeller and the 'cone'. subtract the latter from the former. divide by pi, to get r-squared. cheers googletranslate
Guys look at this video !!!:) ruclips.net/video/ySVbm0tntkU/видео.html
😀
Please do video for setting radio ,receiver and all telemetry. (For new user FrSky radio.)
@@natichoom9543 There is a lot of those videos already on youtube.. I learned everything from them :)
Holly crap, how did he make it out at that distance?

Hi Wojtek, great flight & skills, great performances, and super setup, as usual, congrats !!!

Excellent video. Great flying. Many thanks for sharing the information
16s... you mad man :) you truly are the kind of edf jets! fantastic flying and awesome sound! great job!
What an excellent jet, your power set up is awesome
Such an orsum model this plane, sounds great, Flys great. Love it 👍🏻
Very nice!
amazing engine, amazing plane 👍👍
Still cant get over the sound :D

I tried but inrunners are so tightly packed that it is hard....
so impressive
GREAT video, love your explanations about the Jets and the reviews. Can you tell me what RADIO TX and RX you are using...Thanks
very cool to see! The Blackhorse version looks pretty cool! How was the build quality?
Hello Wojtek How can I get the 3D files for your battery holder from you? Thanks
I would also be interested in obtaining the 3D files. Thanks Bill

More distance, like 110
Noticed you were always trying to cool down the temperarure of the motor, would not be better to use the heat sink on the motor?

Wow! That Jetfan sounds incredible. Do you think youd get the same sound out of a 12s-14s setup

Camera gh5 - brother, Marek. Thanks for a good word!
I think it's his Brother filming, and the camera if I remember rightly is a Lumix GH5
@@namaxamedia4521 anytime my friend. As a photographer i know how hard it is to keep a stable zoomed in frame with a fast moving object.
@@gr8motive hahahahaha... it is always quite stiff after a brake in filming EDF's and Wojtek is flying low, fast etc. Thanks for enjoying the craft!
Wojtek, the edf is the 100 or 110? You mention both sizes.
Congratulations, the plane is very nice
it is 100 :) sorry
I've watched this video many times, and i can't believe, it's real sound? Or this is some audio effects?
It's a secret 🤣
