Angle grinder with a cutoff wheel did that job in about 5 seconds.
Agree.. but some constructions sites safety rules make cutting stuff with a angle grinder very hard.
Same with a good fixed blade knife for other jobs.. much easier/versatile/cheap than the “safe” method
And sparks and mess to clean up takes extra 2-3 minutes.
Yeah, not including charging batteries, getting permit, wearing all required PPE, cleaning up afterwards and try to use your grinder inside the panel.
Some people will take any excuse to breathe plastic
Unless you got an extra 25-$20 Bill’s lying round you might wanna pass on this deal.. Not taking anything away from the company because Knipex has been my go to over ALL other competitors but this price is just down right HIGHWAY ROBBERY🤨

compared to copper, ACSR is much harder to cut due to the steel core of the ACSR line.

@Pepe Lopez Not a chance. Not at that price! Never seen a pair on site!
they are £270, not a huge amount of money if you get a lot of use out them. Personally I use a hacksaw on SWA which is considerably cheaper but if I was doing shitloads of it I'd probably buy a pair of these.
@@Savagetechie The 240 ratcheting cable cutters (€20) will also work on steel cable even though the blades tell you they only work on copper and aluminum. They won't last long , though.
@@Savagetechie my point exactly, using a hacksaw to get through 45mm SWA doesn’t really take that long so I don’t see why people are spending so much money on ratchet cutters😂
