    The CC2500 version will bind to FrSKY X/X2 LBT & HoTT LBT receivers but please check the RadioMaster and multi protocol module website to confirm your particular receiver will be compatible. The binding procedure is the same as you would do with your current FrSky receivers. Please check my playlist for how to bind receivers.

    Good day, thank you for the video. I'm not a drone flyer but I think this radio would be good for RC trucks or excavators where they need many channels. Is it possible for this to pair with an older frisky receiver? If yes how do I do that pls?

    I just want a whoop for inside in the winter can I buy the ELRS version ? I always fly FPV with DJI air units and controllers but I can’t get around the weight so o was thinking if I get the analog converter that snaps on the side of my DJI goggles and an analog controller then I can it to work

    Congratulations on the tutorials you do, they are great. I just bought a pocket CC2500 and I have S-FHSS receivers. The internal module only accepts FrsKy and HoTT as you mentioned in your videos. How can I set up my TX to bind futaba or S-FHSS receivers if the protocol doesn't appear? Thanks

    • @the-happy-RC-flyer
      @the-happy-RC-flyer  7 месяцев назад

      Hi Juan, I am pleased you are finding the videos useful. I am afraid you would have to purchase a 4-in-1 MPM to attach to the back of the Pocket. If you have a few Futaba receivers then that’s your route to go. If not buy compatible FrSky protocol receivers.

    Hi Bill Im interested in this TX for flying planes because I like to fly small and compact rc gliders that are easily portable thus such a radio is great. However I use flysky receivers and Radiomaster with my Zorro 4 in 1. will they be compatible with C2500?

    • @the-happy-RC-flyer

      Hi Ian, the CC2500 does not support FlySky so you will need the 4 in 1 version.

    Looking at getting a RM pocket for sim training but unsure about protocal (as i dont have a quad yet) ill prob get a small woop? So can you say what protocal i should invest in? ELRS is the thing but ive heard that the embedded elrs version is 25mw? And perhaps if using an external elrs module more power would be possible? I guess i wont need much with a small quad so maybe im over thinking it.

      @the-happy-RC-flyer  4 месяца назад +1

      Hi Owen, I am sure in you quad flying career you will move on to bigger quads. I would say go the ExpressLRS direction. The receivers are made by many manufacturers so pricing should be competitive. There is a learning curve with ERLS but many videos to help you. 25mw can go a long way with ExpressLRS. You can have the best of both worlds by getting a 4in1 module for the back of the radio later. Welcome to the wonderful world of RC flight good luck with it.

    • @the-happy-RC-flyer
      @the-happy-RC-flyer  Год назад +2

      Hi Simon, welcome to the hobby. ExpressLRS is a link protocol which uses one type of protocol. You would need to purchase ExpressLRS receivers which are made buy various manufacturers as the firmware behind ExpressLRS is open source. This makes the pricing competitive because you do not need to goto a specific manufacturer. There is a bit of a learning curve with ExpressLRS, I do have videos to help the complete beginner. It is a long range system to. CC2500 is a MPM system that can link to specific protocols mainly FrSky protocol receivers which a few manufacturers make. There are other protocol receivers which can link to the CC2500 MPM. Please note it is not a full multi protocol module. If you are starting out I would lean towards the ExpressLRS version but it you have models the CC2500 can bind to go that route. I hope that helps Simon and good luck on your RC journey. All the best, Bill.

    Hello your video is really helpful . And I wanna ask some questions. so the place where I live has hard time buying all this kind of product specially RC receiver so please can you suggest me from both of this two cc2500 and elrs which one is more convenient to buy for receiver availability. And which one I should buy FCC or LBT . and what the difference in elrs and cc2500. Is it only range and all the other feature are same or it’s the ecosystem only . And which version cc2500 or elrs can bind with many receiver or both of them same same and only bind with their own brand reciever , what really is it . I am confuse

    • @the-happy-RC-flyer
      @the-happy-RC-flyer  9 месяцев назад

      Because you are new to the hobby I would suggest ExpressLRS. ExpressLRS receivers are made by many different manufacturers so good choice available. Yes it is a long range system which is a good thing. There are other advantages to the system. The CC2500 is a reduced protocol multi protocol system but basically FrSky and FlySky receivers. FCC or LBT, LBT is Listen Before Talk and is required for Europe and the UK. FCC for USA and the rest of the world but check for your country on the internet.

    • @the-happy-RC-flyer

      You cannot use the RP receivers as they need a Flight Controller (FC) You will need a PWM receiver so you can plug in the cars servos.

      Hi Chris, the R88 has 3 protocols it can use to bind to the transmitter. D8, D16 and S-FHSS. You may have accidentally changed the protocol on the receiver. Let’s make sure it is in D8 mode. Please follow these instructions:
      Select D8 protocol in your radio.
      1. Turn on your transmitter and select the desired protocol.
      2. Enter bind mode on the receiver. Press and hold the bind button while powering on the receiver.
      The receiver will cycle between D8, D16 and S-FHSS protocols.
      Three single flashes= D8 protocol.
      Three double flashes= D16 protocol.
      Three triple flashes= S-FHSS protocol.
      3. When the flash pattern matches the transmitter protocol, press bind on the transmitter. The light will flash rapidly then return to solid.
      4. Cycle the power to the receiver after binding.
      Please let me know how you get on.

      @the-happy-RC-flyer that's just it... these are the instructions I've been following except I'm not sure how to find the D8 mode, when I turn the internal RF to multi, there is no D8 submenu option. There is, multi, flyskyrx, flyskyx, and hott, maybe one more that I'm forgetting. Am I in the wrong spot? I'm in setup on page 2 of the model menu.
