The problem with electronic music is that with the help of computers you can make music where there's no room for breathing, and I think this is one of those songs that's very hard if you aren't a person with gigantic lungs.
As a vocalist, some days even when not sick atleast for me I just can't sing, like I get to the recording studio and I just can't lol, nothing u can do even when you warm up, her voice also sounded pretty forced, she prob couldov sounded better if she stood straight up and didn't move as much
She actually sang the song while most just flipping lip sync. Try singing the song yourself in one go. Your lungs might explode cus it's genuinely hard to catch a breath. @@Aomicplane

Then there's the simple fact that it IS a live performance. In the studio and on the albums, it will almost always sound better. So i honestly feel like she's given such a hard time from the online community (despite the fact that she either doesn't hear about it or she just doesn't care lol) for her live performance(s?) of this song.

the song is not that hard, which does not change the fact she is not hitting the notes properly. another thing is that her vocal is definately too loud in the mix comparing to music which makes overall audio presentation sound terrible (I am not even starting about mic feedback/distortion ... sound engineer was sleeping or what ?) all that being said, it is a shameful turn of many events which caused overall fatal impression :(

If you hear a singer's voice really good on the original. Then when it's live if the microphone is shit. Then this happens. I had a freind who has a really fucking good singing voice. But when he did a school talent show. they gave him a really cheap microphone. And he sounded like shit. Despite that he sounds really fucking great.
+NO1RE I think its the microphone and she was nervous. She sounded really bad here but before she sounded amazing. When I was ten I sang a song at a recital my voice was great but the microphone made me sound like four year old. Also I was pretty nervous.
Pretty sure it was due to her in-ear monitors not working correctly, multiple times in the video, it shows her messing with her ear, my theory is she either couldn't hear herself well enough or they just didn't work correctly
The voice is a tone lower than background music, but I am amazed how she holds parallel tonality, I this case it would helped a lot for music producers to lower backing track with one or two semitones to make life of the singer easier

This song is very hard to sing.I think it's nearly impossible to sing perfectly in live.When high pitch came,she was very struggle and couldn't hit. It was seem that her vocal range didn't enough.

Having listered this live performance again a few year later (without listening the mv version agin and I can't sing), my thought is that for the first half, it was a few keys lower than the mv version, for the second half, she tried to sing on the correct tone but her voice just can't do so at that moment, I'm now much appre iate her effort in the event and tried her best:-)
