My mom had a 11984 Chevrolet Caprice Classic 4-door, and I STILL miss that car 2 this very day. My dream Chevrolet caprice would be a 1989 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 retired from Texas DPS.
Dude that is a gem! I am so jealous. I have been searching for a 9C1 for years. I found so many that were just clapped out or just straight rotted through. As the years go by these cars get more and more hard to find. Keep that one in good shape dude.
My parent's daily drove a blue 94 9c1 ex Maine state police car when i was a kid (it's still in the back yard) unfortunately the maine winters rotted it to shit :( they probably never knew how popular they would be now. Would kill for one like this 😍 these are so much more sought after than a crown vic and are faster cars.
Love it ! I saw a 9c1 for sale around me for 700 bucks I should've jumped on it. I have a 94 caprice lt1 it's got a cam and all the supporting mods I love it but want a stock one cause there awesome cars to just cruise in.
THIS CAR, really, is a absolute perfect setup in color and overall condition. An absolute dream. Keep it up and take good care of it! Its a piece of history. I would like to see more of it :)
Mine is just like that at the driver door the door weather striping needs to be replaced. Its completely clean and I'm currently still adding to the project. Great video my friend.
I have a 1994 9c1 123000 miles when I got it has 127 now super fresh only thing bad are door panels in the front I got the rubber floor no carpet all original lt1 motor 👌🏿 but this one is super fresh 💯 I need another one hope I can find one like this
You've got a unicorn. Keep it clean. Impressive find. Not many in that good of condition. I'd love to get a Caprice 9C1 from 95-96. I remember when departments wouldn't give up the Caprices and would get refurbs on them before eventually giving in and buying CVPI's.
I got caprice Classic 81 for 9 years then i got caprice 90 then crown vic 93 then crown vic 2004 then i got back to 2 of 96 caprice Classic one white and the other one blue they beautiful cars to drive . Nice 👍 car you got brother don’t sell it
Wow! Awesome! I have a 94 whilte 9 c 1. I'm in Colorado. I enjoyed your video. Take care, hope you enjoy your 9 c 1! GOD BLESS YOU. thanks for reading my message.
Hola a Todos.
I drove one of these that was an old FHP car and it was impressive but don't get the distributor wet I have a 94 Corvette with the LT1 and luckily haven't had trouble with the optispark but everyone has told me about getting the distributor wet also on the temperature LT1 engines do run warm partly because of the reverse flow water pump they made them to run warm to help with emissions and complete burning of gasoline from what I've read .
@@drjohnsonhungwell5115 , That was the only thing rigged on my 9C1. It appeared the fuel pump circuit was fried from a bad fuel pump prior my ownership or catastrophic event, so they used the fan circuit to run the fuel pump. So I added the adjustable t-stat and new circuit with relay to the auxilary equipment circuit. Highly recommend anyone does this on an LT-1 car unless it has the heavy duty belt driven fan option. the adjustable Thermostat is money well spent over just an auxilary switch IMHO.
Florida is a bad place for a 9C1 to retire? Try Illinois hahaha. There is literally ZERO, besides mine and its sister car still in service where I bought it from. I got it STRAIGHT from the police auction, didn't have to worry about it being chopped up and cut up, literally 101% original haha. Mine's just as nice as yours, which is crazy rare here.
To be honest I prefer a police package over the SS but that’s just because I like the way it looks. Also to consider police interceptors have independent suspension.
Dang, that old ex-cop Caprice is clean as heck. Great care.

انا ايضا منذ سنتان وانا ابحث عنها ولم أجدها انها سياره جباره جدا اتمنى ان اخذ واحده في المستقبل
Around the time you commented this there was one a dude wanted to sell for 2500 bc he didn’t wanna deal with the tlc
Honestly this gen lf the caprice is amazing. Something about this sedan just makes it special

Your Caprice 9C1 is in excellent shape. 👍🏽
Awesome video, the B body chevys are so comfortable.
Beautiful car. I've had 2. About to sell my vic n get another
I daily a 96' B4U Caprice, it has the LT1 and is a blast to drive. Mine's currently got just over 270k miles on it.
Thank you for allowing us to see this beautiful car.
Many officers have told me that these easily would outrun the new crown vics. The vics were easier to maintain and upfit though
It's true. Vic's are easier to work on but the Caprice is faster.i think it's a more comfortable ride too.

Definitely on my bucket list of cars I have to own
These came with the LT1 V8 from a Corvette at the time period which made these perform amazingly in the 90s

Nice car man!! One of my dream cars I have to find me one, currently own a 1978 Caorice Classic
I'm still in love with these cars.. easy to make fast as well 😌👌

Beautiful car I just got me a 96 caprice in nov myself: it’s a work in progress 💪
I love those cars, I had a 1995 and a 1996 9C1, both in white. I called them the ‘The whale’. Nice cruising car.
A great car for a daily driver! Thank you for sharing...
Great cars I have 3. A 94/95&96
Beautiful car. Twin to my 96 9c1.
Wow nicest 9c1 I've ever seen super nice never get rid of that
Beautiful car I have a 95 I love yours
would love one of these in New Zealand it would stick out like a sore thumb
Это космос, мужик!!! отличная тачка, 9с1 сила!
Excellent. (George Burns)
I got a 95 getting painted black very clean also twins❤️
Its definitely a passion
Man this is SWEET.
Everything has a price and this is the one for me ... I have a 96 impala ss but this is the ss of the 94 - 96caprice.. it's in good shape....
Gorgeous!
I jizzed my pants 🥴 I love 9C1’s, i miss my 94. Hoping to luck up on a 95-96 some day. I’ll take a clean 9C1 over an SS any day!
Whts the exact size beauty rings I'm trying to find them for my 9c1
I've always liked these Caprices from the 1990s. They are pure Americana. The Caprices of the 2010s (the ones from Australia) never impressed me much.
You are very Lucky.👍
What's going on with the oil pressure??

Clean 🖤🔥🙌🏾
way too nice to be a daily. But at least it doesn't snow down there!
I have a 95 impala ss, I just put a 9c1 engine in. Little more power than regular lt1
Where you get the beauty rings?? Mine are bad and falling apart
Orileys has the 15" ones for the factory steelies
@@9c1_forwardlook_mark thank you very much my friend now I can stop chasing my runaway rings while I'm on the road lol.
Do you have p235 or 225 on this one?
from louisiana true detective style
Hello sir, would you have a set of the green hoses for sale ?
nope
Bro my pump not getting power do you got any ideas
I don't know why Louisiana County never put no antenna and no light car clean it looks pretty good
most unmarked supervisor cars never got lights or antennas anywhere in the states.
Nice
Where you ordered from??
Order what?

@@boodah404 I ordered through a company local to me called Dana safety supplies and they put the order through Setina. Order for a 06 Impala.
There is an issue with your fans. They should be kicking on long before it hits that temperature. Had the same issue with my 1996.

I put an auxilary fan control/adjustable t-stat on the primary fan, would run much cooler which is easier on the trans and everything else.

1996 Caprice with the LT1 doesnt have a distributor, they have the Optispark.

B4U better than both and more rare...
nice car; if/when you decide to sell, let me know
I have a 96 9c1 in white just like it love it
What auction site did you get it from? I have a 94 that was pampered. Should have never sold my '96 that I got from an 81 year old man.
Im 3rd owner. It was sold at auction in 97. The car was in service for a few months before it was replaced probably by a Vic
Wat is the limit on this car i was told 100 or 140
Realistically I think it's 116 or something
Update, i did 103 a few days ago and it still felt like the car would have kept going.
The limiter on a stock 9C1 is 147 MPH. Normal "Civilian" Caprice's have a 108 MPH limiter and the Impala SS doesn't have one.
Got my 96 9c1 up to 126mph
@@gabrielulibarri9950 how fast you think the 96 impala ss go
Impala SS is basically a luxury 9C1.. same as Marauder is basically a luxury Ford Interceptor with supercharger
