I can't tell you enough you are a very stand up young man trying hard to make sure your family is taking care of. I wanted to let you know from a old timer that doesn't truck after 25 years YOU CAN SOLVE THE PROBLEM of sliding your tandems bye GETTING YOURSELF a bottle of dawn dish soap and spraying the rails of the trailer THE BEST WAY is to put the soap in a spray bottle SPRAY THE rails of both sides at the beginning of your trip SOME WOULD SAY USE grease or silicone spray YOU DON'T WANT TO USE THAT it builds dirt EVEN IF YOU ARE going to drop and hook you should spray the soap because at some point in your trip you will have to slide the tandems and even if you hit rain that's OK I guarantee you they will slide easily .AND IF YOU do at some point drop and hook well that's just helping the next person not to have a hard time AND THAT'S NOT A BAD THING. AND SOMETIMES when you are tired and don't feel like walking around front most times the number for the stop should be on the bills and if it's not you can get the number really easy by Googleing it BUT WHEN YOU ARE running tired you don't think of these things just a suggesten.AND YOU ARE YOUNG but be careful on not burning yourself out.
