Hey. I don’t have this screen, but all the controls should still work normally. Audio and telephone operate with Idrive system so there should not be any differences after this cluster change. Cruise control also should still work.
does it show out side temperature? original cluster has that info. i was wondering if it shows that as well.

How are firmware updates received and downloaded to the unit? There a manufacture contact that assists?
Firmware update is done via USB, which can be emailed over if required

Yes you can its in a menu you need to switch to will show temp.
I have the same on a BMW X4 F26 and it doesn't show the car in the middle or the adaptive cruise, also doesn't show the fuel correct and the M logo is uppside down! I can't find support

Sounds like you need a firmware update

You need to contact your supplier and he will provide as firmware may be different from different suppliers and could cause issues if not correct one
Hello, i have a bmw z4 sdrive 35i and i install the same digital cluster, but i have a problem, it doesnt do launch control, Do you have any solution or update to activate the launch control? Or have you tried to make one with that cluster because it didn't work for me, thank you 👍

Can you please tell me if this will work without the MOST (fibre optic) cable? The green and black two pin connector most of these cars seem to have.
My 2017 BMW F30 335D only has the analog cluster, the one with the tiny rectangular screen in the middle and the analog needle MPG gauge not the 6WA with the larger digital display across the bottom. When I removed it a few weeks back to see if it had the MOST cable it only had one wire going to it, which was the power harness wire with the clip on the end, no green or black wire.
I spoke to another seller but the English was slightly broken, they said it will work if my car doesn't have the MOST cable. Are you able to confirm this please? My car is NOT aa hybrid and DOES NOT have the HUD. It was an entry-nav evo system with navigation using the smaller 6.5 inch non-touchscreen display but I upgraded this myself to a 8.8 inch touchscreen display.

Not true you need to code away the check engine light that 100% will show up when the cluster is installed

Hi you need to change it in factory settings.

You will need factory setting code which only the supplier of your digital cluster can provide. Each supplier/distributor have there unique code due to warranty.

I installed it on my bmw serie4 from 2015 then the cruise control doesn’t work anymore
Sorry as we did not install it we cant say what the issue might be.
I had the same problem..You have to get the upgrade code from the person you bought it from. Once you open up upgrade there are several codes for cruise control. Try each one until you get the cruise control back.
