Welcome to Tick Creek Ranch. This channel
was created to show the daily ins and outs of
life on a small ranch. We are a family of eight,
our lifestyle has taken us from the deserts of
Idaho to the wilds of Alaska and back to the
lower 48. We followed our dreams and finally
settled in the Ozark's of Missouri. We have
owned and operated our own businesses. over
the years, ranging from carpentry and
excavation to commercial and residential landscape. The children and ourselves have
developed a passion for learning new skills
which include leather work, welding and
fabricating, carpentry, plumbing, electrical,
roofing, painting, equipment operation, timber
sawing, blacksmithing, horseshoeing, flatwork
and concrete, timber framing, cattle ranching,
horse training, and many more. Please follow
along on this journey as we build our new
home and delve into the ways of regenerative
ranching. So stick around and watch us create
our dream using old world construction
techniques and style reminiscent of an era
gone by. Thank you and enjoy the journey.

Finally someone with the brains to test it out on dry land vs snow! Thanks!
Pretty cool, gave the Honda new life. Definitely could get you in a sticky situation. Hey Camso I’ll feature a set on my Kubota RTV 1100 on my channel. Thanks for sharing guys, looking forward to the next one.
This will get me in trouble if the 18 yo in me has his way😁
@@tickcreekranch Oh I know, I’m right there with ya
The extra traction would be welcomed here on our farm, no flats.
My only concern would be if you had to hit something hard, would it hold up.
They’re really well built. As long as they’re kept free of sand and grit in the bearings I think they’ll last a long time.
Do you guys even get snow I mean it looks like you’re in the south I live in Canada so snow is the only time we run tracks
How do they hold up in the water and mud?
how gose the houses it looks like you have your house pretty much closed in besides the siding do you have your parents house closed up i bet yall are super busy.
Our house is closed in. My parents is ready to start framing the walls. We’ve taken a bit of a break from home construction. Slightly burned out and other stuff needs attention. Slow but sure. We have an update video of our house coming out later this week. Thanks for the patience 👍
We'll need a redo when (if ever) it snows...
For sure. Going to make unrolling hay in the snow a non concern 👍
The side view reminded me of the time when my friend put a lawn mower muffler as a silencer on a .357 mag revolver then added a 20 power scope. You knew what it was but it didn't make sense to look at it. Same with your contraption. It is soooo gnarley lookin' I would probably hurt myself on that. Very Cool. Enjoy and be careful. Camsotracks! Yes!
It looks like something from the video game Halo👍
Is it hard to switch back to the tires?
@@genesmay6589 not too bad, 30 to 40 minutes
I guess depending on your situation they might be very useful. But for the avg ATV rider that I know, I think they would find the lower gearing/slower speeds to be unacceptable any time they had any distance to travel. For me that would be the majority of the time. It looks pretty gnarly though.
It’s not intended to be a substitute for a recreational ATV.
They’re pretty awesome, but have a very specific application.
@@joeb4142 I hunt meat to go on my plate, not something to hang on my wall and look at or brag about. There's nothing "recreational" about what I'm referring to.
