I'm not sure why Vinny was so confused by A Good Husband/Wife; abusive, hateful and depressing marriages that ultimately end in murder are about the Valentiniest things I can think of. The only thing that wasn't 1-1 realism was that the wife got arrested.
What I thought was pretty realistic was that in the wife game she hs the chance to "leave the husband for good", yet in the husband game there didn't seem to be that option (athough maybe Vinny didn't show it).
While most of these were crap, A Good Husband (and a Good Wife) seemed to be a little too real and depressing, especially in a Valentine's Day setting. With the bland graphics, unsettling ambience, and every flashback making you hate the wife more and more, I wonder if it was maybe an experiment to create the world's most unlikeable video game character or most depressing game.
Bit sad that the only known instance of Touhou on Vinesauce is through a horrible Valentine's game... Vinny needs to play the main series. Hell, I want to see him corrupt the PC-98 games.

It's really pretty sad that A Good Husband/Wife are games that seem to parody abusive relationships. Nobody should ever have to take emotional abuse like that, and it's really not something that should be made a joke of in video game form IMHO. If the developer of those games sought to make a proper commentary on the topic of spousal abuse, I'm not so sure they did it quite right... There's other, more tasteful and respectful ways to touch on that topic in the media, I think.
