Glad you found it helpful! Yes I’ve had great luck with the getaway xp. I definitely prefer it over the handmade since where I live is very rough and rocky. In the Midwest for example though, the handmade version would be great.
Very cool build and great video! We are heading to the LBR this summer. How do you think this bike works as a do it all road/gravel bike? 32mm tires for road, 45mm for gravel? Thanks!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. TLBR is an epic event, you’ll love it. This rig has worked great for me for on and off-road training. Before I had my melee last year I did thousands of miles on it on road wheels with 27mm tires. If I were to only have one bike though, I would probably consider a 2x setup for smoother gear ratio changes on the road vs using the 10-52 eagle cassette
Are you running into chain line issues with the red crankset? Sram's website says you need a wide crankset to accommodate a 10-52. I am currently building a enve fray and doing a 10-52 w a red crank w a 46 tooth.
I am not in terms of shifting, but my chainring clearance on my chain stay is questionable to say the least. I would recommend the wide crank, I wanted red for the weight savings which they don’t seem to make in a wide.
@@cswartzz That's good to hear as shifting was my main concern. Hopefully with a 46 tooth the clearance issues will be avoided. I would like to stay with a red crankset.
Great video! Love the MOG. I see you have little clearance in the chainring. How much clearance you have on the non-drive side? Can it be fixed with putting spacers on the non-drive side?
Glad you enjoyed it! It would be fixed my running a Sram “wide crankset/spindle,” but Sram doesn’t make a wide version of the red crank as far as I know and I wanted the weight savings
Thank you for build walkthrough. 2nd or 3rd person to talk about the Challenge tire brand. I'm going to order some to try.

Yeah I’ve really had no complaints! About to convert this rig to transmission
@@cswartzz I am doing xx SL I will let you know how it comes out
Please do! I’ll probably do another MOG check later this spring. Will also do a melee check soon hwre
Sick bike build! I was wondering whether the chainring mounting hardware came with the power meter or the garbaruk?
thanks! Just the stock sram four bolt spider mount for the power meter
Thx for the vid.
Could you share your height?
I’m torn 54 or 52?
Also can you change the stem on this frame?
Ty very much
I’m 5’7.” Yup you can use any stem you wish

How tall are you, I'm 173cm and looking at 52 unsure of stem length
@@graemeross1998 I’m 170cm and use a 110mm stem. Pretty aggressive
A video of changes you made to turn this into a 'cross bike and how it compares to actual cross bikes could be cool.
That’s a great idea, checkout vlog 60 where I go over it a little bit. But a full video would be awesome to do
Which kind of BB are you using? T47 wide or standard?
I believe normal. T47 85.5mm is the exact spec.
How tall are you and what stem length are you running
I’m 5’7”. 7:00 in the video, 110mm.
Omg. Wash your helmet straps 😂
Don’t worry I do hahah, just have bigger problems to worry about during 20hr weeks😂
