watch all your videos. i appreciate the in depth education you take the time to produce. Would love to see you build a case with a midspan trunk line going out to feeders.
Have to say, your videos are very educational. Alot of your techniques, tips and tricks have helped me out! Really enjoy the content. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for watching and commenting I really appreciate it. New video coming out today on OTDR testing a network there will be lots of tips and tricks in this video will be released tonight around 7pm
@josetrujillo3813 thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it. I would say open up a number company and talk to your local providers and build partners let them know you are your own splicing/placing company now and open to contracts and you should be able to get some work. Also use LinkedIn to find companies needing assistance on builds. More videos coming out over the weekend here so stay tuned 🙌
Appreciate the videos, very cool to see how things are done in the US (I'm in Australia). The majority of splicing I do is single fiber, but occasionally I do need to do ribbon splicing for distribution jobs but I borrow a ribbon splicer for those jobs. I'd love to know if you can use your ribbon splicer for doing single splices? I'm hoping to avoid buying/owning two separate splicers when potentially one could do the job. Thanks again for the videos ... not many people are doing high quality fiber splicing videos on RUclips!
Thanks for watching and commenting I truly appreciate it. I have a copy of my splice matrix you can download from my patron. More videos coming this week stay tuned 🙌🙌
I would just add in the trim length, order of the fiber ribbons for splicing (R1-R12/R12-R1) and orientation the of the ribbon in the transfer tube. You may have mentioned in another video. I would suggest linking that video or mentioning it here. Great video. The "flipping the chip" is in the instructions for the case. As well as trim lengths but lest be honest. People very rarely read. Always trying to build a better mouse trap. lol Again great video.
It’s just to help ensure all the bare fibers are separated and not over lapping so the cleave comes out clean without breaking any fibers 🙌 thanks for watching and subscribing I really appreciate it
i think its interesting how the first arc blasts all the dust and other partials off the fibersc and how you can see the specs disappear on the arc test
Amazing stuff, don't cleave if the fibers are crossed, don't forget heat shrink, that would be a bummer, duck-tape won't work...? that splicing takes a lot of patience...
When the machine widow splits into 2 sides showing almost like there are 2 splices and then goes back to one main view with the splice. Is that a top and bottom view or something else? Also what is 40mm 12c std and SM:12c ? Love your videos. I love any test equipment. As an industrial generator tech I love using lab scopes and any other data acquisition devices. Channels that show how other trades use their equipment I find interesting. Keep the great content coming.
Hard to find anywhere that actually provides a coarse my suggestion is watch all my RUclips videos and get hands on in the field you will learn quick 🙌 thanks for watching and subscribing i appreciate it

The easy part is the splicing.. reading your paper work and understanding what your splicing is what makes the work difficult
I agree😂😂😂
Exactly! I'm looking thru videos trying to get more explanation on the splice matrix's and that aspect of splicing..

i think its interesting how the first arc blasts all the dust and other partials off the fibersc and how you can see the specs disappear on the arc test
Yea it’s pretty cool and interesting it can cause a bad splice if it does not arc off all the dust but yea 98% of the time it works great 😂
Did I miss something? is there an order, color, the 12 fibers go in? are they color coded?
Yea for sure there is a colour code blue orange green brown slate white red black yellow violet rose aqua 🙌
Could you please explain Wray you mean when you say “re-glue” the fiber?
Thank you from Hungary
