He's already self aware and has some access to your mind, so perhaps he knows he's one of millions of Sonic creepypasta characters. We also see this earlier in the song, since (to my belief) he's taking the forms of Sonic.exe, Majin, and Lord X, three iconic creepypasta Sonics. Perhaps he's trying to use that knowledge to his advantage, giving the player more of what they want (Songs against Sonic.exe and other iconic creepypasta Sonics) so he can invade their mind easier.
I feel like there's gonna more songs where he takes the forms of other Sonic.exe characters like Sonic.EYX or EXE/Faker, or maybe even other regular sonic characters like Tails or Knuckles.
I love how he mentions Boyfriend meaning absolutely nothing to him and wanting you more, it’s a really interesting interaction I’d love to see more. The idea of someone having no problems or desire to harm boyfriend and instead going for you personally is just, really neat

Sort of like No More Innocence. He imitates as a way to "help" the game reach its conclusion. And the models and song itself are both reminiscent and nostalgic at the same time. Sonic CD inspiration with other stuff thrown in.... It's genuinely off-putting for something so small and simple. No complicated gimmicks or extra fluff to pad it out. Just...him...

I mentioned this on another channel, but the way Rewrite breaks the rules of FNF and walks up to BF is an absolute power move unlike any other. This character has become one of my favorite EXEs in a matter of hours. He is literally the concept of Sonic.EXE and is constantly rewriting the story, aligning with how EXE creators make their own variations.
The whole sonic.exe rewrite concept is amazing. So he's able to mimic just about anyone, and Rewrite's choice to pick the trio that started these EXE mods was a very smart move. I'd like to see this become bigger. The Trinity song is what I love the most.
On a more meta level, rewrite could technically be considered to be every EXE on a conceptual level. He rewrites the store, and with each new story, another EXE variant emerges.

Spoiler alert but in it's sequel "NES Godzilla: Replay" the narrator finds that the cartage is actually an anomaly that is different for every player, the only constant being the presence of Kaiju as playable characters and bosses.

So it's been really long since I listen Vocaloid Song but recognizing the Voice of (I think his name is) Rewritten, after all these years is still interesting, especially that it's not a popular Character as Miku. The Voice is of the Vocaloid of Utatane Piko. Which is very, very interesting that someone would use his voice.

To be honest... 3D Characters look even more creepier than 2D Characters. That's why I think that the Sonic Creepypasta Characters in 3D look more disturbing than in pixel art or just "drawn". You can actually see the difference on 6:31 and where he appears in 3D 4:11. But the most creepy part is where he approaches you and the camera is in a kind of first-person angle 5:14.
Honestly, I think this looks amazing. The songs were well made, Thriller Gen being my favorite. And the sprite were really good too, definitely giving the mod a 10/10

This is definitely a god tier mod. The mod has pixel 3D models which would take very long to create and Rewrites voice can get extremely high pitched but Rewrites lyrics are maybe the best part for first song. Also the mechanics are mostly the same maybe other then a few tweaks. Great mod in all honesty!
Theory time, what if the red rings have something to do with Rewrite building up his power?? He has three in the section where he's facing the player - one around each glove/limb except his right leg - supposedly from absorbing xeno, majin and lord X. In the game over screen, boyfriend/the player turns into a red ring.. maybe that's why he says "You're the one I'm looking for", because gaining that last red ring will allow him to use his powers to their full extent. At the end he also uses 5 voices; the trinity, boyfriend's, and his own 🤔 Three rings managed to let him break free from his fixed spot, so perhaps four would mean Rewrite could break out of the bounds of the game altogether Edit: messed up a name oops
Anyways, lore thoughts aside, this mod is absolutely fantastic, I love the character designs, little events and the tracks are super cool!! If the mod team/creator somehow sees this, you did an awesome job fam👏

This is incredibly impressive, almost everything in this is new and made from scratch. I especially love the voice of the sonic in this one, it gives vocaloid vibes.

I like Rewrite, he’s quickly became one of my favorite exe’s. He’s very self aware that he’s in a game and this part “boyfriend is not the one i’m looking for, through the screen I can see more” is cool and creepy that he addresses the player and not BF. Plus it’s implied that (to me) he defeated Sonic.exe, Majin, and Lord X and takes the forms of them to trick BF (the player). Also I should mentioned this line “from a fate you won’t escape, when you die we meet again” is very true no matter how many times you die you always see him again. A few things I want to mention is the wings in rewrite plus with him saying “I am god” means he’s some form of demon or god of some kind. Another is the sprites they look so good, it’s a mix of both sonic blast and sonic’s schoolhouse. Along with the end bit of trinity reminds me of the sprites from sonic 1 on the master system or game gear for some reason.

To be honest... 3D Characters look even more creepier than 2D Characters. That's why I think that the Sonic Creepypasta Characters in 3D look more disturbing than in pixel art or just "drawn".

This is definitely a god tier mod. The mod has pixel 3D models which would take very long to create and Rewrites voice can get extremely high pitched but Rewrites lyrics are maybe the best part for first song. Also the mechanics are mostly the same maybe other then a few tweaks. Great mod in all honesty!
Theory time, what if the red rings have something to do with Rewrite building up his power?? He has three in the section where he's facing the player - one around each glove/limb except his right leg - supposedly from absorbing xeno, majin and lord X. In the game over screen, boyfriend/the player turns into a red ring.. maybe that's why he says "You're the one I'm looking for", because gaining that last red ring will allow him to use his powers to their full extent. At the end he also uses 5 voices; the trinity, boyfriend's, and his own 🤔
Three rings managed to let him break free from his fixed spot, so perhaps four would mean Rewrite could break out of the bounds of the game altogether

I like Rewrite, he’s quickly became one of my favorite exe’s. He’s very self aware that he’s in a game and this part “boyfriend is not the one i’m looking for, through the screen I can see more” is cool and creepy that he addresses the player and not BF. Plus it’s implied that (to me) he defeated Sonic.exe, Majin, and Lord X and takes the forms of them to trick BF (the player). Also I should mentioned this line “from a fate you won’t escape, when you die we meet again” is very true no matter how many times you die you always see him again. A few things I want to mention is the wings in rewrite plus with him saying “I am god” means he’s some form of demon or god of some kind. Another is the sprites they look so good, it’s a mix of both sonic blast and sonic’s schoolhouse. Along with the end bit of trinity reminds me of the sprites from sonic 1 on the master system or game gear for some reason.
Or maybe I am God is just a neat little reference
