God these Cartoon Network bumpers make me so happy. Takes me back, Cartoon Network felt like such a experience back then. I still have tapes recorded between Christmas 2000-about 2002 and they are so warming to watch from time to time. They had a massive library of cartoons back then and the bumpers and promos were so well done. Aka cult tunes was brilliant and rather edgy they would never do it now. It was a channel for cartoons itself and not just for kids.
1998 definitely not, as Ed Edd n Eddy wasn't around at that time yet. But you're right, this is indeed from 1999, not 2000. The reason I assumed this was from 2000 is when I checked the teletext of the VHS, it showed the date march 17th. The recording also contains an episode of AKA Cult Toons, which aired on fridays, so I figured it had to be a year on which 17th march was a friday, and 2000 was such a year. Upon taking another look, 6:13 also proves that this is from 1999. There's a text that says "at cinemas from friday march 19th". March 19th was a friday in 1999. I'll update the video title and description, thanks for pointing this out.

I’d never expected to see a Red Bull commercial on Cartoon Network!
But here we are!
This is awesome thanks for sharing this. Love watching stuff like this
March 17th, 2000.
Thank you so very very much! I appreciate it a ton!
i think this was 1998 or 1999, because "a bugs life" was in the end of the 90s in the cinema and not 2000!

@@alcyonecougar2570: exactly and the Ed, Edd, Eddy & Superman Premiere was before Cartoon Network's encryption on 15 October 1999!

@@reubenfrancisbrown1996 I doubt that. This has AKA cult toons in it, which aired on fridays. Oct 19 1999 was a tuesday.
