I don't remember subbing to you but I'm glad I did. Watching a grown bearded man play with toys for little girls made my life fulfilled. I can pass on now and join the force.
You know what I now want? Billiam Barbie reviews. The doll market has a Girl Tech side of its own, and back in the day, the thing was INTERACTIVE DOLLS. This led to the legendary Princess and the Pauper and Diamond Castle Barbies, who would interact and sing songs when placed near each other. This was twice as iconic as any of the colour-change-in-water Barbies, mainly because your parents now had to buy you two dolls. Oh, and the straight-to-video movie that was made to tie in with each doll, of course.
I had a ballerina Barbie where if you put on a bracelet and anklet, the Barbie would copy your movements and it even came with a dvd to "teach" you ballet
I had those Princess and the Pauper barbie dolls! They had like 3 audio tracks that would cycle and play when you pressed a button on their back. Only the "I'm just like you" song was a duet, but it was really neat because you pressed the buttons at the same time they synced up..
I was literally just talking about the Password Journal to my mom. That thing was more secure than Fort Knox. You wanted to get back into your super high tech journal to read your secret scribbles? Well then, you had to remember not just the password you chose - but EXACTLY how you said it when you first recorded it. The pitch for every syllable had to match or that journal was one time use.
I still own the "jam n shred" pen I had as a child. The pen does not work anymore, the batteries died so I cut off the incredibly short earbud, BUT the tiny shredder is GREAT for shredding the labels from prescription bottles
It's actually because of the audio. In this case both audio chanells are inverted making a inside your head felling to the narration. I consecuente on mono connections the waves cancel each other out making a wired silence
As a kid I had the stylin studio girl tech toy and it was one of the few times I would take pictures of myself, I used it and those disney plug and play games all the time and it brings back such strong memories of sitting on the floor in front of my mom's bed putting a bad wig jpg on a horribly grainy selfie of myself. I love these girl tech videos so much, can't wait for the 6 hour lost sequel.
I’m still so jealous that you actually have a Hasbro Dream Life console, that was the only “video game” I had as a kid and now I can’t find any for under $100 lol. I had been searching for while for a Dream Life to record for my channel and I managed to find one that was $50 one day- I scooped it up so fast. They’re usually over $100 from what I can find, but don’t give up! Never know when the right deal comes along. 😁
Thrift stores and second hand selling sites are good places to look and keep checking. Some people have old stuff they don’t realize is pricey now. Like original Yu-Gi-Oh duel disks are pretty pricey (100-300$) these days but I found one for 75$ and have had friends find them at goodwill for cheap. Just gotta keep an eye out ✨
@@KingOfGaymes Yes! I found a super random site with a couple people selling Miuchiz handhelds (I had been looking for actual months) and found one for like $27?! Gotta be patient for sure lol
I remember that the sibling angle of all these tech toy ads made me hate being an only child (and I never had a password journal, because I never had a sibling from whom to hide my innermost thoughts). I did have an iZone, though!
I had a little brother but he could not have cared less about my stupid nonsense so here I sat with the journal like "oh... Well who's it supposed to keep out then?" Then I realized the voice recognition was bollocks and I just sat there thinking, "oh, it keeps ME out."
It really is interesting how many girl toys are marketed around the idea that the people in you life and house WILL invade your privacy any chance they get.
