I am 56 years old and have been out of the Honda scene since my early 30's. I see Racing Hart Type C's in the thumbnail and I click! I wanted some of these so bad when I had my CRX-Si back in the day. My little sister had the sane generation Prelude. Super clean good job and loved the fact that you fabricate your own parts to make your car different to everyone else's.
Not enough people fabricate parts for these cars and I’d like to thank you!! It’s been really awesome watching the transformation of this build over the last yr thanks for posting these RUclips vids I always look forward to the next one, such a sweet build 🤘
I can't believe I have never seen this build before. I love this gen prelude and the work that you have performed on this vehicle is nothing short of amazing. One thing that I noticed and realized is the shifter boot opening looks just like the one on the NSX and was thinking the mesh NSX-R boot would look nicer than the red stitched leather. Either way, love the build and those RH Type C look amazing.
Subscribed. CLEANNN! Brought back so much memories for me. Had a 3rd gen in high school. I wanted to do so much to it but I just didn't have the funds at the time. Def. a fun car. I have been seeing a lot of clean ones lately here on social media and out on the road. Might be a sign for me..
Clean car champ My heart hurt when you changed the TypeR five lug back to a 4x100 USDM four lug 😢😢 but I gotta respect all builds even if it’s not what I’d do. I had a ‘88 CRX with a B16 and ‘99 si wheels back in ‘01 and loved that car, drove her until 2012. My buddy had a Ek and paid big money for the 5 lug conversion lol
Ive followed since day one and I can’t believe the transformation. I’d live to order a set of annex coil overs. I was tempted to try the 92 civic coil overs cause I had ground control w/ koni’s that worked.
Love this model. Nice everything put together all around . I wonder if you will in the future AWD it? Great taste on everyone too. Loving it keep up the great work 👏
car looks great! can you please show how you restored the backseats and shelf? mine are faded aswell..what did you use to paint them? would appreciate it!
Nice! That car looks clean! Just curious why aren't you going with ksports for the coilovers? Also what do you think the coilovers that are on your car would cost? Someday I would love to get coilovers fro my 91 si alb but I would rather manual swap it and do a bunch of other stuff to it before that.
@@johnrussakoff Yeah a bit i guess, but the more it compresses it should kinda "fight" eachother? Doesnt seem optimal for a lowered vehicle tbh, but for a streetdriven car it should still be fine. Looks so good overall tho, makes me want one tbh, haha!

My first car was a crx, I love those too. Thanks for watching.
You're a legend my dude. Thanks for sharing this journey with a hungry 3g Prelude community.
You too man 👍🏻
@@johnrussakoffyeah I agree I think Connor is a 3rd Gen Trail Blazer too👀🫡

I hope to see more of these preludes on the streets
It feels like Christmas when you upload ! An avid 3rd Gen fan here. Thank you and cheers !

They’re very unique and fun cars for sure
You’re doing some amazing work on this prelude! It looks so good! I really like the work you did on the side skirts.
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Your prelude is GORGEOUS! I had a '91 4ws 5speed and boy did I let it go down! If I could get my hands on another one, boy oh boy!
They’re out there! And still a bargain for a golden era Hondas.
This thing is just coming together SO nicely. I love it.
Thank you 👍🏻
Very awesome 👍 better than new 💯
Thanks 👍🏻
The car looks sweet! nice project car , not many of those around .Great job .
Thanks for watching
Can’t wait to see it in person on Sunday
Me too 😂

The car was 4x100, I just Redrilled the rotors to fit the 4x100 car.
great video I love the side skirts they look so much better than the accord skirts
Super clean build 💪🏼 saw it at the Honda meet this past weekend
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
looks great man! really like your style too. I think we have similar taste judging by the mods you've done
Subscribed!! Awesome build!
Beautiful car, beautiful build.
Thank you 👍🏻
That car is sick AF
Thanks 👍🏻
Impressive work.
Thank you 👍🏻
Love the wheels 😍
Thanks 👍🏻
I'm loving the honda content
Me too 😂
Amazing work man!
Thanks 👍🏻

Message them on instagram and let them know. I’m sure if there were enough interest they would produce them.
Wait 92Civic coils fit?
Looks like a dream
Beautiful
Love the build and how it's period correct. How about some front drop forks?Keep them videos coming!
That could be an option too. But because of the time crunch, I wasn’t able to design and machine a drop fork.
That thing is mint , just subbed
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Is there a video on how you modified the side skirts? They look great. I’m curious about your techniques
This video has the sideskirts mods in it 👍🏻

No plans for awd, just going to cruise it around and enjoy it.

I used interior paint from duplicolor. I believe it’s just called vinyl and fabric paint.

I think they are typically around 1800.00? Not positive though. I’d check out their site for pricing.
@@johnrussakoff Man those are kind of pricey. And i thought Ksports were expensive. lol
🔥🔥🔥
Love it
What ball joints did you use for front upper control arms?
Wow, what a strange setup in the front, like the shock itself has alot of posetive caster, but the upper arm has a little bit of negative caster?
Sort of, caster changes as the shock compresses.

Why is does the nsx calipers only fit specifically 90-91? Arnt all 3rd gens the same ?
No, 88-89 brakes are smaller and have different steering geometry.
so essentially the studs act as dowel pins but what happens when the threads wear down ?
The wheel being torqued down holds the rotor in place.
👌✨
I would run a true FWD staggered setup and throw the 16x9 in the front

Any links to the coilover? Much appreciated
They are a prototype. I need people to contact annex suspension and let them know there is interest in prelude coilovers so they produce them.
What’s Inx stand for?, I’m 64 and I’ve owned 3 ludes. Two 3rd gen one had 4WS and one 4th Gen. Yep I miss them but I’m still driving Acura’s 👌
I have not been able to find a concrete answer for this yet.
@@johnrussakoff ok🤙
Love the details. The stance is not for me but that’s ok I guess
Thanks 👍🏻
