I really enjoy your videos but im amazed you are not tired, isntead of an car an engine with a actual transmission on besiege would be cool. But i think what you should make is a good schedule for uploading for us and a good time for resting for yourself.

Do you know the art pieces called 'Strandbeesten' by Dutch artist Theo Jansen? They are walking 'beach beasts' powered by only the wind, they have some very nice configurations to create an animal-like walking motion!
For a grippy material, I'm not sure if this will work, but you could try using cars in the feet with their tires hitting the ground and that might help!
As this guy gets closer to a degree in engineering I become more worried that one day I will be driving across a bridge when it suddenly wraps around me and I'm forced to accelarate to power a random giant machine
