I'd imagine that a bit of wiggle room around the major joints is nice, at least most of the time (Cases like Garry's Mod from my experience has too much floppiness when attaching wheels onto objects)
The game needs a toggleable symmetry mode for those nails: Placing one on each corner ... manually ... one at a time ... for each panel ... seems like it's going to be a pain.

Here's a video idea: get to Ike using only the 'terrier' engine/s (RCS is allowed, but for docking only) in stock Ksp (except visual mods), using no DLCs, meaning NO propellers or any other type of propulsion using mods or DLCs. Also, please try to not use any glitches or game-breaking mechanics.
Seeing your first bridge fall apart at the last panel and then having you manage to just nearly scrape your way across to the target makes my poly bridge heart very happy❤
In besiege, the blades normally are powered by a wheel, which works but it creates a torque, but if you put a unpowered wheel behind the powered wheel, it doenst spin the creation so i hope you see this comment
My only question would be does 3d improve on the poly bridge formula? And the janky movement seems more frustrating than anything. I'll stick with real bridge game.
