Stayed to the end. Have lived a alternative life most of my life. I am 63 , everything from school bus ,to camper trailers to building 2 single wide trailers put together with a roof mounted patio area , burn pit , etc .. on a 500 acre ranch in Santa Barbara,Ca. to 8000 sq.ft house in the desert in AZ , ETC...

That's awesome. That roof mounted patio area would be awesome. I'm all about unique features like that. I would like a tree house myself, but there's no trees in our yard. Sounds like you've lived an interesting life.

Stayed to the end, you guys sound alot like my kind of people, I never went in for the worldly things in life, it's amazing what we take for granted each day, I think we can make do with a lot less and more happy without all the stress that we put ourselves through. I'm in Tennessee and payed my little 900 square foot house off 2 years ago. I'm 60 and just got my first car with AC in June 23. Lol...anyway great video and best of luck. I also used to be a trucker, drove through Oklahoma each week on my way to California. ✌️

Heck yeah. You did things right. Doesn't really fit the narrative, but that's fine. Our house is 1200 square feet. We love it. Anymore space would be too much. Sometimes it seems like the more space you have, the more of an obligation it is to fill it up with stuff. Been there. Done that. I've done some irrational things in my 20s and some of my 30s. I've learned from them though and that's what's important. That's awesome that you got your house paid off. That must be an awesome feeling. 👏 ✌️

I appreciate that. That's rough when dogs start to get old. They're just not who they used to be. I used to have a dachshund and we built a ramp for him to climb up in bed with us when he got old. I miss that little guy. Solo got into the dogfood while we weren't looking and we couldn't get him to the vet in time. Stomach twisted. He made it to 7 which ain't bad for a 140 lb dog. Thanks for subbing and enjoy the time you have with your dog. They make life a lot better.

Watched to the end . Great vid! I hate klik bait vids. You get right to the point. I like the privacy of living out on my farm even if it was -34c b4 wind chill here in Sk. Lol

That's brutally cold. My wife wouldn't make it in that kind of weather. It's getting down to 1° F here tonight and we act like it's the end of the world. Family members get mad at me when I do runs out in weather like this. If the price is right, I'm rolling out though. I grew up on a farm too and it's beautiful there. I really couldn't understand the beauty of it until I moved to the city.

Definitely. It was never intended to be permanent, but I did want to keep the bus and make the back half a flatbed. Would of been an awesome toy hauler. It had to go though to keep my business alive. It served us well.
