Andre Previn is the mystery guest in this season two episode taped in early 1970. Panelists are Jack Cassidy, Joanna Barnes, Larry Blyden, and Arlene Francis. Wally Bruner hosts and Gene Wood fills in as announcer.
And just two years later, Larry Blyden would replace Wally Bruner as the show's host.
Like Lynn Swann replacing Gordon Elliot
Larry had hosted two game shows by the time he took over WML. He had been a guest panel member on the original WML.
Thanks as always for these great episodes. It’s so sad that Larry Blyden died so young (49 years old) as I thought he was a great moderator and I also enjoyed his appearances on The Twilight Zone.
It sounds like this was taped at the Ed Sullivan Theater. Later, WML and TTTT taped in studio 6A in Radio City.
It’s great to see Larry Blyden and Wally Bruner on the same show. It is clear that Larry understands how the game is played.
Arlene was amazing. She looked better and more attractive here than she had in the 1950s. Talk about ageing gracefully!
Martin Gabel bedded her every night
Gene Wood subbing for Johnny Olsen
Gee, Previn didn't even try to hide his identity. His voice would have been so known to all these people.
Very attractive episode!🇨🇦🌺👍
Ladies and gentlemen...Mr. Andrew Preview!
Sorry, never heard of this guy. Where's Soupy?
He is on the toilet
She did that in heels to boot. >_>
I went to high school with a Sharon Moran who was no relation to the contestant here.
Arlene has a habit of not hearing a question quite often on WML.
Perhaps you meant not hearing an ANSWER? She seemed fine on this episode.
Bennett is that you?! 😂❤
