    Possibly the most exciting part of the entire game along with the secret ending of the base game

      It saddens me they couldn’t have a that ending be available alone. Like have it as one of options at all times. Because you could always get rouge give details about how to get below the building.

    Man, after this mission. I honestly just wanted the game to end at first, went for a long drive, I was feeling so empty that I didn't have the heart to immediately go meet Hanako at Embers lmao. But man, it really gives a good RP reason to go with "(don't) fear the reaper", pure rage.

      Bro my thoughts exactly. It's why you have to complete Phantom Liberty when every main quest and side quest is complete and all you have left is Nocturne. The entire expansion feels like the last major gig for V so it doesn't make sense to do it mid game. And also after seeing what the Nusa did to Songbird in Somewhat Damaged. I always side with Songbird now. Girls been manipulated, abused, irrepairably altered and used by the Nusa and Myers in particular. All while Reed just sat there like a good dog similar to Takemura. I liked Reed's character a lot but the guy got in his own way. Killing moon all the way.

      @@ReveredDead Yeah this is why i always do the main mission until you unlock Phantom Liberty, and then finish the main quest of PL, and after that, finish the game, Panam, Takemura, and all other things to do

      @@ReveredDead Agreed 100%. I was doing Somewhat Damaged with the intention of getting the new ending for the main game but after seeing everything, i just couldn't deliver her to them. Reed has good intentions but he is so delusional it hurts (his convesation in the car at the end when he says if only it was him talking to So Mi, he would have convinced her lol). Killing Moon gives the perfect narrative setup to go storm the tower on your own and that's how it will be on every playthrough from now on.

    • @KosmataBradva

      Killing Moon is great. It throws so many swat, you actually get to have some fun with the combat.
      The only thing that absolutely sucks is how much content is locked behind Reed's path. You miss Hansen's bossfight (and loot), the scuffed Maxtac fight, Erebus loot. Kind of hard to balance all that with a slaughterfest mission and Reed's gun.
      Somewhat Damaged also gives critical story context. I really fail to see why they put so much in Reed's path. It makes Killing Moon look like an actual punishment, instead of a choice. Yada-yada, AI takes over, haha u trust Song haha u so stoopid. Cool, I'll just console command the loot in. Arrogant polish dicks.

      @@ReveredDead Thats the tragedy of Reed. Who he is all he has left, and unlike So Mi, he thinks there's a two way win. He get to keep his oath and stay true to himself, AND save So Mi. Frankly, in my head canon, (dont) fear the reaper is canon ending, and the last mission V would do before dying is to go after Myers and tell her "this is for So Mi and Reed" before putting a bullet between her eyes.

    Soundtrack in this game is a masterpiece. A lot of underground techno synths/sounds are included in most of the tracks

    • @tangofoxtrot_451
      @tangofoxtrot_451 11 месяцев назад +5

      But what makes it truly remarkable and special is not that it’s just inspired by any underground music but with rave music. It’s what makes it unique and unalike anything in the genre, just like a post-rock with a heavy bass and energetic drums combined with chanting in Deus Ex. I love it when composers are actually trying to create something outstanding, something new!

      @@tangofoxtrot_451Do you know how I can find more music like this? I can't find anything similar literally the rest is so trash, I feel like game music is one of a kind, like Tekken 7

    • @tangofoxtrot_451
      @tangofoxtrot_451 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@David-Codes well, not fully similar, but there is something actually. You could try to dive into the discography of Nine Inch Nails since Ilan Rubin, their drummer, has been working on the Cyberpunk ost composing drum parts for the original and the whole team has been influenced by this band. Also you could try to search for Paul Leonard-Morgan’s works (especially his ost from Dredd 2014) since he is also one of the composers for Cyberpunk. But as for the rest-I really don’t know anything else fully alike. They wanted to create a new sound for the genre and to avoid synthwave by all means and they pretty much did. But then again, they were really influenced by 90’s industrial, electronic and rave music so that is a way to go.

    • @tangofoxtrot_451
      @tangofoxtrot_451 10 месяцев назад

      @@David-Codes oh, and as I mentioned before, Deus Ex has some very interesting and outstanding OSTs, especially Human Revolution and Mankind Divided. Not that it sounds alike but it is as unique as Cyberpunk’s OST, just different. Maybe you’ll enjoy it.

    I'm going to be a contrarian and say I gave her to Reed during my first playthrough. That's when I don't roleplay and simply follow my own heart and thought directions. I did really sympathize with So Mi but she got in to this shit mostly by her own doing (since the beginning, with Reed saving her from certain death because she hacked some corp net and their hit squad was after her or something like that). But she played both sides (Reed/Hansen), was willing to betray either of them (during Firestarter) and also saying that many will die so she can live. That's when she began losing me. During the finale at NCX Spaceport, it became evident she had less and less control over the AI shit that is infecting her and this combined with her reckless behaviour screamed to me "apocalypse level danger". And telling me the cure can be used only once, and for her, was a cherry on top of her shit cake.
    For me it was picking the lesser (potential) evil, basically coming close back to original status quo before the Space Force 1 crash (that Songbird caused). Can't imagine what kind of job would that Moon black lab do on her. Would they be able to cure her? Or is her leash going to change hands of someone way worse than Myers? Or what if they won't be able to control her anymore and she truly becomes a ticking net-nuke?

    • @Itsunobaby
      @Itsunobaby 2 дня назад

      Yeah I did something similar. After the one on one convo at her base I thought she was finally being mask off only to drop the one cure shit on the ride there. I was devastated. I felt so betrayed. I ended up giving her over after that, no amount of sympathy can undo using me like a lapdog.

      @@knopick007 Because he cut off all the highs and emphasized the stereo effects with M/S processing. With M/S you can hear more of the effects that are otherwise only very slightly audible and are in the background. The wide stereo effects have been shifted to the background so that they are almost mono. This gives the impression that it is a different version of the piece of music.
