What a bunch of footballers, up the Dubs, and this Kerry team is one helluva team also.Should be an excellent rivalry over next few yrs.

What a wonderful clip. Everything that’s good about the GAA. Cross community participation and an international sporting show case that rivals any professional sport. Two top class teams battling for ‘Sam’. It brings back memories of helping my late father Feidhlim O’Broin, who was Ard Mhaor (Chief Steward) for many years (60’s, 70’s and early 80’s). Great games, great times & great engagement with the fans. Only thing that’s changed is the crowd rushing onto the pitch at the end of the game. And finally Up the Dubs, have followed them since 1958.

I was at Croker today for my 13th birthday which is on the 11th December 2019 and I went there for a tour around it and it was a thriller.

Fair play to Dublin, a serious team,, 5 in a row heading for 6, some team, from a kerryman.

I think the next few years should be Kerry ...build around some great existing panel and work the Sigerson in Tralee Cork and Limerick and re jig the line out a bit..Clifford and Jack Barry to mid field....I think the Dubs are gone over the hill now....no replacement for Brogan , O'Sullivan McCaffrey, Cluxton , Cooper McCarthy, O'Gara..... these guys are either gone or passed their prime.and, dare I say... Gavin!

Fairplay to the Dubs, better team on the day. Kerry also did a fantastic job and will definitely be the team to watch out for next year. However..... Gaa needs to enforce a law around teams hangin on to the ball, it's destroying the flow of the game. If a team has the ball and is unopposed for a certain length of time, it should be deemed a professional foul and a free kick should be awarded to the other side.

IMO It is up to the opposition team to contest the ball and create turnovers. The problem does not lie with the team who keeps possession, it lies with the team who fail to tackle and allow the team with the ball to control the game.

@@lisamcglynn2354 I considered that issue too Lisa. But the other side does not have to go out and get the ball and leave gaps in their defence. It's works both ways. Gaa has always been a flowing game. You can't hold onto the ball and not play it.

@The Word Yoga Tree Do you understand that Kerry employed a blanket defense which is designed to prohibit flowing football hence why Dublin retained possession of the ball. Perhaps if the use of a blanket defense was deemed a professional foul the game would flow. Possession football is always part of any ball game Rugby, Soccer, GAA etc ! Kerry tried to do the same in the drawn game only Dublin were better at this as they were more effective at the scoring part which they showed on Saturday! Regardless as they have shown over the past 8 years this Dublin team would adapt and find a way to win! Looking forward to seeing them seizing the six!!!!

Retreating to your own half of the field could be considered but possession is possession.

@@thewordyogatree7507 Why give up possession to the opposition who are sitting back and making no attempt to play football? Makes no sense. Kerrys play resembled Donegals play of old at times. Dublin will not shoot aimlessly from distance, they will control the ball and work it patiently into the scoring zone. We learnt from the Donegal game in 2014.
