- Wakesurfing tests were conducted by a third party - guinnpartners.com/boat-testing/ to demonstrate the wave length, height & pocket size. This video compares a Malibu 2019 22MXZ to the Mastercraft X23 to determine the better surf wave.
That design is off of a 2017 x 23 also they didn’t even make this boat when this video was posted you should be comparing the x 24

This whole video is skewed. Nice elevator music though for a nursing home.
When really loaded down with A LOT of weight (additional ballast and lead) my X46 does throw a big, long wave, but you have to really load it up. With my buddy's Wakesetter, he gets a good, long wave with just his stock ballast.
fake news. I surf both boats and the MC is a better wave.
Do the same with the port side, MC will blow it away. Also… the angle of the video makes the MC look smaller. Andddd for the 2020, 2021, and 2022, MC blows it completely away both sides. I have even compared it to the paragon, MC blows that away also. And check out the build quality… MC is better built all the way to the cup holders… Malibu and Nautique are both planting while MC is fiberglass. Than look at fuel economy while surfing… MC wins there too. And finally… there is no replacement for Displacement. More displacement, the bigger the waves. Basic physics. 🎤⬇️
This is a terrible video. It’s so obvious it’s skewed Malibu way. I’m a Centurion guy. So I don’t care who wins this battle. But the surfer on the mastercraft just falling off the wave then the Malibu surfer pumping to stay in the wave was the worst acting I have ever seen. LOL 😂🎉
