Il y a longtemps que j'écoute Chiara Massini, cette merveilleuse claveciniste romaine spécialiste de Bach. Mais là, dans cette Suite, depuis 6 minutes 57 et jusqu'à la fin, elle dépasse, à mon avis, toutes les autres interprétations que j'ai pu entendre, autant dans le phrasé, la clarté des fugues que dans le son du clavecin. Remarquez, les questions/réponses sur le grand et petit clavier. Bach, bien que parti depuis bien longtemps, est bien vivant sous les fines mains de cette magique Italienne. Bravo, Chiara ! It was a pleasure to meet you (thanks to your videos). A lovely work. I liked very much the Recitative, especially the differents ways you play the arpeggios, sounds really great.
This piece was written, I believe by JSB at 18 y/o, showing an early ability at many things including program music, counterpoint, using descending chromatic lines for dramatic effect, and fugue form.
I absolutely love this classical piece by Bach. The movement that I favor the most is the FOURTH! That movement is beyond words, absolutely spectacular in so many ways. I feel as in on a giant swing. Hundreds of feet up in the air swinging with high amplitude. I cannot begin to describe how much I loooooooove this piece. I am showing it to all my friends and I just love it more than I can even begin to describe. I could go on and on and on and on and on. I love this most on the Harpsichord. That is just how it was mostly meant to be played.

Touchante promenade descriptive du jeune Bach. Je fus autant touché, Chiara, par Zuzana Ruzickova jouant The Battell, de William Bird, qui pourrait vous intéresser. Elle fut Deux fois sur Internet, mais en a été retirée, il n'en reste que des bribes; pourtant une description aussi dense est rare dans le Baroque. Encore merci, votre clavecin est étonnant, Chiara; merci.
