This week we’re turning up and turning out with our very special guest: comedian, actress, and diva Danielle Perez. And I also wouldhave gladly preferred this closet over my last 2 Berlin appartments 😃 Although, that might have been a little bit weird being strangers and all😅 Also love the accessability aspect. Many of us have certain needs and its well worth it to think about these to then adapt your space so it works for you - and not the other way round. BC that NEVER works out😁
Preach!!!!!!!! I love that we were able to come up with so many fun solutions that, honestly, we could all use. (I would also love open storage to “shop” my closet…of paint-covered t-shirts.)

2) Yellow and pink is such a fun combo and can totally be done without looking like a nursery! I stand in solidarity! (Side note: I am just loving mustard yellow/saffron shades right now!)

I was rolling on the floor at the wig heads (so disturbing, yet hilarious!). My Dad has mobility issues, so whenever that issue gets highlighted, I'm happy.
Danielle is still recovering from the terror of the heads. 😂
I just realized this is how I need my clothes etc - I’ve hate putting my things in a dresser or closet so they never make it there

TBH, I thought about doing a closet clean out video myself! Pretty much any closet is a dumping ground. My office closet has definitely seen better days. Haha.

I love this so much! I'm a full time wheelchair user too due to Muscular Dystrophy. This closet is definitely inspiration for me!
I’m so glad to hear that! It was such a fun creative challenge, but we also found so many cool things along the way. One thing I didn’t mention was that we also added legs to the Kallax to make it a better height and easier to reach the bottom cubes. Just an FYI if that’s helpful. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Loveing accessible design as my mobility has decreased over time. This happens to everyone at some point when you age. The yellow reminds me of banana taffy candy from my childhood. Katy they make a tape that goes around curves! Not worth the trouble for me but maybe the peel and stick queen would enjoy. Quick tip for cheap dull scissors cut fine grain sandpaper or aluminum foil. Reupholstery is time consuming but not really hard if you have the patience and right tools. Don’t sell yourself short I think you could do it.
Love that scissors tip! Would have loved to tackle that couch, but my mom has barred more things coming into her garage for now 😂 And, yes, this project was so great to think about creative solutions for accessibility.

Thanks! Got inspired and decluttered my wardrobe and drawers (so, yes still finding ways too avoid my ‘moment of hell’ chandelier). I have that out of sight out of mind thing too (the chandelier mocks me every time I go into the dining room but then I forget about it as soon as I leave the room😊). Something I do to deal with it is organise clothes by first section and then colour so all tanks together, short sleeve, then long sleeve tops, trousers, skirts and jackets then by colour. Makes selection easier when dressing, also stops me buying the same thing over and over (who needs 10 white tshirts? Me apparently I discovered today while finally putting away my laundry. Love you two together❤️✨
Love to be the soundtrack to a great organizing. It is kinda the best feeling. And I am the same! How many black tank tops do I need?! Never enough. Hahaha
