For the head that came with this kit, I think that is kinda accurate to how it looked at the end of the movie. I remember not being able to see his right eye, so maybe after rotf he had those tiny decepticons work for a reconstruction process

That...that's obvious, the only change this Megatron has is some minor paint differences and a new head sculpt?
It’s cool we get an upgrade kit for this Megatron just like we did for ss-13 rotf Megatron. But I’m a bit disappointed that this kit didn’t include a normal head for this figure but instead, just a repaint of the alternate head included with the ss-13 upgrade kit.
The studio series grimlock upgrade kit was on mushroom pegs and don't require a screwdriver and don't you mean the studio series ironhide upgrade kit

I was looking back at the final battle in ROTF, and Megatron was never seen with 2 hands after Optimus shot him in the face, because immediately afterwards Optimus broke Megatrons right arm off. It's still a great upgrade though.

Definitely looks better with two arms, but the ordinary SS by Hasbro is still a great figure. Worth it, to me.
Although I do not have this version of battle damage Megatron I would definelty consider getting an upgrade kit for the first version of this.

in rotf megatron had this claw like the original version, not like the kit version (the blade is long like that)

I wish the uograde kit came with a normal headskull. Like no damaged headskull with that coloring, wouldve been the perfect megatron
I like it how the box shows the original ss megs upgrade kit but he’s doing the damaged one
Might get this tho for my original cause this is the only kit available
You can actually fold the wings forward and the front wings back to make it the ground version and unfold them for the flight mode

Grimlocks upgrade kit dose t have to remove the limes by using screws it’s Jetfires upgrade kit that has to use screws
It should’ve come with a normal head that had the same paint, would’ve made the kit cooler

When you have the upgrade kit on and transform it but with out the cannon on only the new hand is there any difference or won’t it transform?
If they would have sculpted a nub arm for this figure and it still retained the ability to transform it would exceed my expectations
