Absolutely my favorite airbrush…I have the 2023 version. I love using the .2 needle for hot paints. It lays paint down like no other brush I have owned. Awesome product.
You really need to get the 2024 version - I've had a few Inifinity's and Evolutions over the last 10 years and this new airbrush is the pinnacle. The titanium tip and screw down are game changers.
Nice review Justin!! I used to use Harder & Steebeck brushes and Iwata for years doing 1:1 cars, trucks, motorcycles, t shirts etc. They are great for illustrator's, portraits. I havnt air brushed with there newer ones yet.
Thanks for watching. Up until now the best brushes i've had have been my badger 105 and the omni 4000 but using this H&S has been really nice! Things I can do with the badgers or the Ghaaleri I actually want to do with this one.
@@JHartModelworks Your welcome!! I hear ya, my badger 150 was a work horse back then lol mostly for t shirts. I dont think ive ever used an Omni brush before.
@@MannysscalemodelingThe Omni line was a Thayer and Chandler brush. Badger bought Thayer and Chandler in 2000 after they went out of business in 98 and started making the Omni and Vega brushes using the designs they got from T&C. It's another little workhorse brush. Badger then started doing Licensing deals like they did with Ultimae Modeling Products in the UK, and started making branded brushes, like the UMP Apex, using the Omni 4000.
Thanks for the review. Lots of info in this video. Maybe I'll get comfortable enough with my skill to bite the bullet and buy something like that one day. Thanks for sharing sir!
Looks like an awesome airbrush. Obviously not for what I do. Just like you said though lol. Your disclaimer and honest approach to the review is a welcomed approach. Thanks Justin.
Great review Justin! Don't even get me started on the airbrush topic...I'll lose all my subs LOL. You are right about laying paint on a body though and beginners can get away with it for the cheap like you said.
Justin, that is an amazing airbrush. For me, I would never need something with so much fine adjustment. I'm perfectly fine with my Passche and Gaahleri airbrushes, but I can see how someone can really get some outstanding paint work with that one.
It is absolutely overkill. It's amazing but truly overkill. I have a plane and a bike in the pipeline for next year, and I think this might help with those.
@@JHartModelworks If the parts are not interchangeable then it's a completely different airbrush. It's just that it looks similar. I wonder if the whole back end and the trigger could be added then. I guess it depends on whether or not the back pieces can screw into the old body. The reason this is important is because for those of us with the old airbrush it will be cheaper to order the parts than having to buy a whole new airbrush just to have the actualized mode.
@anferFFmax i agree completely. That would definitely be a cheaper route to upgrade. Like I said, I read the needle and front end parts can be swapped out. But I don't have the older model to test the back end. I'd suggest maybe hitting up reddit. Maybe r/airbrush to see if anyone has tried it or has more info.
I pre-ordered mine direct from H&S and it still took I think a month and a half to two months to get it. I know H&S had several production issues. I thought they were finally on track. I guess they are still having issues. The other issue is that since production was behind, they don't appear to have any replacement parts available yet. So when you get it, be really careful with it till they start getting replacement parts out. I'm sure it's just a matter of time, the hype for the 2024 infinity has been huge ever since they started releasing the ultra and evolution models.
Justin, great product review. 😀
Thanks, and thanks for watching!

@@MrScipio72 But couldn't he just order the titanium tip and screw and actualize his 2023 version?
@@anferFFmax No - completely different airbrush.
Love this airbrush. If you take a hobby file and file the trigger just a little it will feel much better on the finger.
@Pinkys-one-offs awesome tip I may look into that. After a while, it can be a bit much, especially since it's been cold in the garage lately.
@JHartModelworks I hope it works out for you 👍🏻

Thanks Joe! Yeah it's something special, but I agree. At $370 It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea.

I wonder if you could just actualize your old H&S Infinity with the new 2024 trigger?
I'm not sure. I's read the needle and nozzles can be interchanged, but I'm not sure on the back end internals.

Use it in excellent health brother……. Makes sense for you 2 have it!!!!!!!!
Now if only spraygunner could get their supplier to actually update them or restock them T.T
