This video was really informative. I currently have a course fro that I have been wearing for a few years. I have two crowns that causes my hair to look like a bowl when it grows around my crown. I want to transition from the course fro with low sides to 360 waves however I’m scared to change the style of my cut because it my expose my short thin crown. It looks full however when I touch my Crown it’s thinner and shorter that the rest of my hair and it grown extremely slow. What are your suggestions?

I have a curly fro. I've always picked my hair out and never noticed a crown. Its very small and in the center of my head. However the hair around the crown isn't as thick as the rest of hair. Idk if I'm trippin but I can't tell if it's early signs of balding or not. Like I said I've never payed attention to my crown until I started splitting my hair down the middle and noticed a very small thin area of hair at the crown. What is this?

Can you create a crown? My natural crown is on the left side but I think it looks better to have the waves flowing from the center of the head (personal preference) but I dont want to damage my hair doing so
Nathaniel Leigh you can, my crown is more to the top of my head and I made a “fake” crown a little bit father back, you can just combe out the natural crown and lay it down, you’ll see progress.
