- 😍Hugo the 4 month old Cocker Spaniel has completed a 2 week Intensive Board and Train Course at Adolescent Dogs
😋 Hugo is a very enthusiastic, happy puppy but he struggled to stay focused and settle calmly.
😎After 2 weeks, his ability focus and listen has improved hugely, and he can now respond to obedience commands and walk nicely on the lead. He no longer jumps and mouths excessively, and this behaviour is easily redirected with alternatives like down or middle.
He has learnt to settle better at home and can now sleep in the house without having to go in his crate.

We're working with our new pup and Brandon's advise was just what I needed. Wish he'd just come and train for me haha but it's good for us and happy to have this new set of tools to use on our pup.
I looked after a cocker spaniel called Mike for a month...I enjoyed every minute of it and would love to have my own one day

Andy T This is a working cocker spaniel (different to a show cocker) both in looks, personality and temperament So check when you are looking for a pup that it is a working cocker. I had a working cocker for over 15 years...best dog in the world I’ve ever owned. Broke my heart when I lost her a year and a half ago..... I said “ never again” but I’m getting another hopefully in November; I really can’t wait.

Oh same! It’s so hard he’s just not at all bothered by food or anything .. I wish mine was this well behaved . He has started really pulling on his lead

Is it possible to have a cockerspaniel with a bunny? That you learn the pup to accept the bunny?
Yentl VZ well my dog is mostly cocker spaniel and wants to kill my two rabbits. She gets jealous very easily and hates when I touch my rabbits or other dogs
Possibly, but you’d have to get an American (not english) cocker spaniel, and train them to coexist as early as you can. I wouldn’t count on it always working though, and you’d always want to be in control of the bunny and the dog when they were together.
Yes it's possible! We had two bunnies already when we got our english cockerspaniel and she was very nice to them❤Unfortunately the bunnies have died already and our cockerspaniel is 9 years old, turning 10 next autumn. But I think many puppies will get used to other animals if they see them from the start. Ofc I wouldn't let a dog and a bunny spend time without observation, but our cockerspaniel didn't want to eat the bunnies at all and she didn't really care about them too much. I honestly can't remember that we would have ever had problem with them getting along😄. Our cockerspaniel is the show version and not the working type.
