You’re joking right? Are you trying to roll the ball on the ground for 35 to 55 yds? No. Exactly like the other guy said you just hit a 35 to 55 yard shot. The ball flies over the bunker on its own.
Amazing video. I've never heard the entry point visualisation talked about and it makes so much sense. Excited to try it. I'm a decent green reader myself but sometimes I'm unable to spark the visualisation of a line. Sometimes it pops right out almost like an animation, other times it's foggy. Really think the entry point will help spark it more often. Also never seen the entry point and start point tees in the gate drill, such good additions!
I literally imagine rolling the ball with my hand like a bocce ball. Its so helpful for me to visualize a start line and a speed and follow how it rolls.
Great video once again. I'd like a video which shows you how to hit your irons off a fairways as hitting balls on a generally flat and level area on a range is quite deceiving.I always seem to be thinning shots when it comes to actually playing a round using my irons on approach since fairways have different elevations. I'd like to know how to approach set up for hitting your long and mid irons on a down slope and an elevated fairway.
I would like to see a video on how to read uphill putts. I have little trouble seeing the break with a flat or downhill putt, but I find myself guessing on uphill putts.
Had this reading question in the first video and it posted a few minutes later. Now if I’m let’s say Bubbie and putting 20 yards off the green all the time, how do I read the bumps, clover, and valleys 😁😁😁.
I appreciate the information in the video but you explained in the beginning you saw the putt going left. I’d like for you to explain why you saw it going left. What made you read the green that way. People don’t always have water to pour onto the green every time. I would like to know exactly how you see a putt going left or right and what makes you visualize the ball going into the hole in that spot. I love the drills you gave but we need to know the why behind things which imo would make green reading easier.
Great video. I think even more time and videos on putting would be great. It’s so important to taking strokes off your game. Maybe some talk about speed, lagging , where you might want to leave a putt on a missed long putt, making sure you watch your putt if it goes by the hole to learn about coming back to the hole. All good things to know. And more on the green grain reading. Perhaps some handy diagrams to help with explanation. Keep the videos coming!
First of all, great video. This explains why you are such a good putter Question though: how do you view your stroke? Are you a toe release or straight back, straight thru? I know you don't hit a pop stroke like Garrett. I want to know because I'd like to understand how you release toward/down your starting line.
I never imagined pouring water like that…. I always imagine like I drop a damn Minecraft water bucket on the green and those physics don’t work irl 😂😂😂 I feel so dumb.
putting is part of the game within the game, good chipping and putting will take 10 strokes off your scores quick...it sure did mine chipping especially and can save a good score instead of 85 it can be a 77... the closer you get to the green requires more concentration
Thanks for watching! I’m not a fan of aim point for my own game just because I do feel like I read the greens pretty well with my eyes. But not opposed to people using it! I think it definitely can help some people
@@braddalkegolf roger that! yeah wish I was more consistent w/ reading greens w/ my eyes so am open to it too; however, will be using the tips from this video on my next practice session. thank you sir!
It'd be awesome if you guys had an animator to show what "grain" is. I think it'd make more sense to golfers on why the growth pushes putts. OR a whiteboard drawing from Brad the Artist. 😁
Teach “grain” on greens with grain, verbal description is not useful. Grass grows toward the direction of the setting sun. Is it different up hill or downhill as you suggest??? Try again for the grain part???
It’s a video how is he not supposed to use verbal description. “Is it different up hill or down hill,” what do you expect. Get off of RUclips and try it yourself.
Grain also depends on how the green is cut and rolled by the greens crew. If it looks shiny and white, it's bent away from you. If it's darker, it's bent towards you
Shout out Brad. It’s been awesome seeing your journey. Thanks for the tips.
Brad is doing a great job on labs. I'd like to see some tips for a 35 to 55 yard shot over a bunker
you just hit a 35 to 55 yard shot. the bunker isnt there.

My overall putting has been pretty rough lately. Glad to get some tips from you Brad.
I hope this can help!
Great video. I've always fancied myself an excellent green reader and putter. Strongest point in my game saving me the most strokes on my scorecard
I think this was great. Would like more - 3 pillars of putting: green reading, start line and pace. Well done Brad.

Entry point is huge for me in visualizing things!

Another great way to feel things out
The info about grain around the cup is a super helpful tip! I struggle on Bermuda greens.
Great stuff right here! There isn't enough good content about green reading and boom...the boys deliver.
I enjoy these. But I’d love to see you have one of the guys demonstrate while you teach
Great video once again.

So glad you didn't mention aim point or walking all over the green.... I can't tell .0005 degrees with my feet...
Fr😂😂
Trust me I can’t either 😂 I trust my eyes
Brad, you are insane. best putting video ive seen thus far
I appreciate that!
Great tips Brad! Love the drill
Great tutorials Brad , ik like them a lot. Great for a beginning golfer
Thx Brad! Definitely one of the better putters on GG
Appreciate the help Brad this will really help with my green reading
I would like to see a video on how to read uphill putts. I have little trouble seeing the break with a flat or downhill putt, but I find myself guessing on uphill putts.
Another great video 👍 Thx Brad
A video on lag putting would be amazing.
Gotta try these for myself!
Thanks for the drills; can’t wait to use them to improve my reads.
I hope it helps!!
Appreciate this Dalke
Great video. I feel like I have the midpoint but don’t look at the other points as much
Your tips are great, very helpful. Thank you so much
Brad's the goat.
You should totally do videos on the other two pillars of putting (hitting it on your line and speed)
I will for sure!!
Had this reading question in the first video and it posted a few minutes later. Now if I’m let’s say Bubbie and putting 20 yards off the green all the time, how do I read the bumps, clover, and valleys 😁😁😁.
Good job Bradimus.
When will you do a putting setup and grip video? Super needed especially for new comers to golf
Good video. Hopefully There Will be a video for the two other pillard! (Stroke ans speed)
There will be! 👍🏼
Thanks for the info.

Brad is badass!!
great video
Aimpoint is the way to go. Been trying it lately and have been 2 putting a lot more lately. Science over guessing all day.
I love brad ❤
He played the Masters tournament, he knows what he's talking about

Do putter hand grips next.

Are u allowed to put tees into the green everywhere idk if ill get in trouble where i go
That drill is very similar to one of the ones that the CORE Golf app has! It's not as easy as Brad makes it look 🤣
Good good labs with Dr.Donkey
This is much needed Brad. Thank you. Any thoughts on Aim Point and any plans to teach it?
Thanks for watching! I’m not a fan of aim point for my own game just because I do feel like I read the greens pretty well with my eyes. But not opposed to people using it! I think it definitely can help some people

So if the burned side is opposite of where your ball is, will that be a straight putt?
Yes it’ll be a straight putt and down grain so it’ll be quicker than normal
GG has 1.5 million subs GG labs has 29k what are yall doing!??? Lol thank you brad for this! 💚
speed drills?
Cannot believe Garrett isn't teaching this one!
Every put goes straight if you hit it hard enough 😅
Can u do a chipping video next I have been thining my chips
When it comes to reading greens, I’m dyslexic
When it comes to reading greens im illiterate
Looks like this was filmed at Maderas

imma just assume you got my dm on insta asking for more lab content lol
