Thanks for that vid. Done lots of hubs but just could not work this one out, could not believe that the bearing was designed to come out of the hole without removing the ratchet teeth. Cheers..

Great info I was thinking I had to remove the lock ring, but the bearing just clears it. Thanks : )

    Great video, as usual, thanks!!!
My R20 free alu hub housing seems to be damaged from the cassette eating into it, have you ever replaced the housing? I've heard of people changing it with steal free hub, what do you think??

The Aluminium Dt freehub body’s get marked easily from the cassette, you can file the marks down if they become a problem. I’ve never replaced a freehub because it has marks on it from a cassette, you would have a buy a complete replacement body.

    Great video thanks for posting.
My spacer is stuck on the axle for some reason, thus I can't knock out the non drive side bearing with the axle.
My thoughts are to use penetrating fluid or pour boiling water onto the spacer and see if it will free up.
As a last resort, cut it off with a Dremel.
Have you got any suggestions as to how to get the dam thing off?
    Cheers

Jonathan like you said soak it overnight. It maybe stuck because it’s worn a groove in the axle itself.
